Police issue terror alert in Nairobi

Police in Nairobi have issued a fresh terror alert after receiving reliable information that the Al Shabaab is planning renewed attacks.Nairobi Provincial Police Chief Anthony Kibuchi says security within the city and its environs has been beefed up and called on residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious individuals in their midst to security personnel. "We have information that the most notorious terror group Al-Qaeda has joined in this war and has issued threats to carry out terror activities," said Nairobi Area PPO Anthony Kibuchi.  Full Story
