The Clash - Outside Broadcasts Vol.8
greetings muebles listeners.tonights offering is volume 8 of the outside broadcasts compilation series.as usual it features clash and post clash offerings,cover versions and collaborations,guest guitar spots mashups etc etc.on this volume we have 38 tracks for your listening pleasure.as usual i have neglected to complete a track list (which i stopped doing after vol.2 i think)so apologies for any tracks that may have appeared before.but i think on the whole that most havent appeared before.i may attempt to compile a complete track list of all volumes completed so far for anyone who is interested.coming up very soon we have volume 9 so stay tuned.anyhoo please listen,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

V.A Movement - Peel Sessions '77 to '79
a last minute christmas gift again courtesy of camden dave. its a mega 2cd collection of some great artists and tracks they recorded for mr peels show.its got everyone you could possibly think of (including the artists listed below and joy division,magazine,the slits,simple minds,omd etc)who may have recorded for the show at this time.unfortunately there was no cover art folder with the cd-r so ive had to borrow a picture from the interweb.if my maths is correct there is 41 tracks in total and it really is a brilliant compilation.so please listen, enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!
p.s the file is about 300mb so it may take a while to download but it is worth it
UB40 - Peel Sessions
Seasons greetings to all of interweb land.this christmas cracker (bdum tsh!!) comes courtesy of mr. camden dave who stopped by muebles towers last night. anyways this is a compilation of 2 UB40 sessions from '80 and '82 and is a great listen especially the tracks 'king'and 'food for thought' from the session broadcast in 1980. the second session is in one longish file as neither of us had the technical prowess to split it into 4 seperate tracks but we are hoping someone out there will !its a great listen cos you get all john peels between song banter etc between songs as well.anyways dont know if i will get a chance to post anymore today as i still have all the christmas shopping to do so if i dont merry christmas or happy holidays or whatever to all of you.so please now listen,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

a great compilation cd that i got free with MOJO magazine a few months ago.its a collection of tracks from people like the trashmen and ronnie spector,the seeds and wayne county.its 15 tracks in total for your listening pleasure.its even got the ramones version of street fighting man with walter lure.its got the fantastic 'bird dance beat' from the trashmen which is a cracking slice of garage punk.this is a cd that seriously deserves to be cranked out at maximum volume.so of you go to listen,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

The Specials - Ally Pally 2011
Good evenening listeners and welcome back after far too long an absence to another stonking live offering from Coventrys favourites The Specials. This offering comes from my own copy of the c.d but unfortunately i dont know to make eye toons import artwork and still cant operate my wifes scanner so you will have to put up with this random band picture i got from the web somewhere.its a brilliant show which was a great one to be at for me especially as they played my favourite track 'guns of navarone' which i have waited over 30 years to hear/see performed live.ive been to other gigs on this reunion tour but they never played it until now.it was also great to hear tracks from 'more specials' live as well.anyhoo i really hope you enjoy this live offering as a first posting in months.over the next few days i will get round to working my way through reposts etc and posting a whole bunch of new stuff.so as you know by now all that remains to be done is listen,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

Important announcement No.2
Greetings everyone in Interweb land.Well the wait is almost over,i finally found an ISP who believes me when i told them my new address exists (seriously i had 3 who said the address didnt exist,i shit you not!).Anyhoo the one that believed me says i should have a connection within 10 days so then its straight back to posting.Ive got something very SPECIAL for the first post back,one thats had me dancing like a loony round the flat since i got it. Ive got more Clash related shenanigans to post, some Peel session reposts, more requests for the clash to be reposted, joe strummer live shows and much much more.anyway ive also got the news that Gobshyte junior will be arriving into this world on thursday the 24th of this month but thats another story.so ill be back on the air soon and looking forward to providing you with more quality music.Thanks for waiting!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Greetings people of interweb land. After moving to a new flat and nearly 2 months of continuous foulups from Bee Tee and Vurjin Meedea im almost sure(!) that mondo de muebles will be back up and running a.s.a.p. At least thats the plan. Im writing this using a 'dongle' (oo er missus) which my wife may have to take back to work soon but anyways thanks for all the comments,repost requests etc. Rest assured in the knowledge that as soon as i have web access of my own i will get started on them. In the meantime you can look forward to some great live video to come from Joe Strummer, The Specials recent gig in Santiago in Spain and also (hopefully!) the Toy Dolls and Bad Manners sets from the same festival. time now for another mega collection (45 tracks this time around!!)of clash and post clash related material.its got everything from remixes,mashups(including one with paul mccartney and one with twisted sister!!!!!!!),the rock and roll hall of fame inductions,big audio dynamite,covers from carbon silicon,billy bragg,die toten hosen,NOFX,audioweb.the list goes on and on.many thanks to everyone who has been sending links and suggestions for this vol.i cant believe its up to volume 6 already.from something that i started doing to pass the time on a rainy day this series just keeps on growing.i think one or two of the selections may have appeared on one of my earlier collections 'the clash get mashed' but i hope this doesnt spoil your enjoyment.so without further ado,please listen,download(this may take slightly longer than normal as its a big file!),enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

Xray Spex - Live Putney 1977
