WELCOME to Genomic Minds - a spin off website of the MRC Centre for Psychiatric Genetics and Genomics - www.cf.ac.uk/cngg. This website combines visual art, film and cinema, prose and poetry and social science to bring psychiatric genetics, mental health and neuroscience to a wider public audience.

This site is a portal for the public engagement work that is being conducted by the MRC Centre and its collaborators.
Here you can learn a bit about the work of the MRC Centre, visit our sciSCREEN page; an innovative programme of public engagement events held at Chapter Arts Centre, and visit our Gallery showcasing some of the creative work produced by artists and writers working at the Centre.
The Genomics Minds Team works closely with creative artists and writers on public engagement events exploring ideas of genetics, psychiatry, mental health and stigma. The current project is funded from 2009-2014.
(1) From 31st Oct to Nov 5th 2011 we organised a public engagement arts exhibition at BayArt, Cardiff.
