John Frank Austin (6 July 1933 – 14 July 2004) was an English professional footballer. He played as a full-back and represented England as a schoolboy. He was born in Stoke-on-Trent.
Frank Austin began his career as a junior with Coventry City, turning professional in July 1950, although he had to wait until the 1952–53 season for his league debut. His career at Coventry spanned over 12 years and he played a total of 302 league games, scoring twice as Coventry rose through the divisions.
In January 1963 he moved to Torquay United, making his debut on 18 March in a 1–0 defeat away to Newport County, but only as a stand-in for George Allen. He had more success the following season, missing only one of the first 23 games before losing his place to Ray Spencer. He left Plainmoor without making any further appearances and joined non-league Chelmsford City.
John Part (born June 29, 1966 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian professional darts player, who is nicknamed Darth Maple. Part is a three-times World Champion, having triumphed in the BDO World Championship in 1994 and the PDC World Championship in 2003 and 2008. His 2006 Las Vegas Desert Classic title and a host of other tournament wins make him statistically North America's greatest darts player ever.
Part was given a dartboard by his parents as a Christmas present in 1987 which gave him the bug to take up the game. He became a professional darts player in 1991. He won several championships, principally in Canada from 1991 to 1995. But his greatest success in the BDO was his 1994 World championship win. He won the final by 6 sets to 0 against Bobby George. In 1997, he decided to leave the BDO to play in the PDC.
He entered the PDC in 1997, but didn't make an impact until 2001 when he reached his first World Championship final, where he was whitewashed by Phil Taylor 0-7 who comprehensively averaged 108 to Part's 92. He reached the final of the World Matchplay in 2002 and was again beaten by Taylor in a much closer final, by 16 legs to 18. He also lost to his fierce rival in the 2002 World Grand Prix.
Many Horses was a holy man of the Oglala Lakota tribe. He was a friend of Sitting Bull and a believer in the Ghost Dance. In the spring of 1890, he organized a Ghost Dance ritual at Standing Rock Reservation to drive away the white soldiers camped nearby, but was distressed to see that they were still there at dawn the next day. He then said to the assembled people:
"I will follow the white man's trail. I will make him my friend, but I will not bend my back to his burdens. I will be cunning as a coyote. I will ask him to help me understand his ways, then I will prepare the way for my children, and their children. The Great Spirit has shown me - a day will come when they will outrun the white man in his own shoes."
Many Horses should not be confused with the daughter of Sitting Bull, who has the same name.
Jason David Frank (born September 4, 1973) is an American actor, martial artist and professional mixed martial arts fighter, best known for playing Tommy Oliver in Power Rangers.
Jason David Frank was born in Covina, California, a city in the county of Los Angeles. He attended Bonita High School. Frank first became interested in Martial Arts when he was young, and at the age of 4 he trained at The Red Dragon Karate School. When he was 12 he started teaching other children, and when he turned 18, he and a friend decided to buy the school. He then wanted to do martial arts in film so he pursued acting.
Frank auditioned for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in 1993 when he was 19. He was cast in the role of Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger. He later became the White Ranger.
Frank was supposed to be the lead character Adam Steele in VR Troopers (originally called "Cybertron") and shot a pilot episode before being called back to Power Rangers. According to both Frank and Brad Hawkins, Hawkins was to replace Frank originally as the White Ranger on Power Rangers. However, due to Frank's popularity with Ranger fans, he was brought back as the White Ranger again. Hawkins would take over on VR Troopers.
Jason Aeron Walter David (born June 12, 1982) is an American football cornerback and is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Washington State.
David has also played for the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions.
David grew up in Covina, California and attended Charter Oak High School before attending Washington State University on a football scholarship and majoring in communications. Jason went on to be a three-year letterman at Washington State. He was teammates with fellow cornerback Marcus Trufant and wide receiver Devard Darling.[citation needed]
Jason David married Kristel Charlene in February their wedding video is featured on Platinum Weddings.
David was a fourth round draft pick by the Indianapolis Colts in 2004. In 2004, he had 52 total tackles, 4 interceptions, and one forced fumble. He also won a Super Bowl with the Colts in 2006 as a starter.
On April 18, 2007, David signed a 4-year offer sheet with the New Orleans Saints that the Colts had 7 days to match. Indianapolis declined to match New Orleans' offer, and was awarded the Saints' 4th round draft pick as compensation. His lowlight of his tenure with the Saints was giving up a touchdown to Peyton Manning on the Opening Day game when the Saints played David's former team, the defending champion Indianapolis Colts in 2007.
