Anarchist Book fairs and the 2009 Southern California Anarchist Conference, want to invite you to be part of the 3rd Los Angeles Anarchist Book fair that will be taking place on Saturday June 25th at the beautiful space called Art Share L.A. at 4th & Hewitt in the Downtown Arts District/Little Tokyo area. Here are just some of the ways to get involved: * Come to a planning meeting. * Submit a Workshop proposal. Send us a bio & short one paragraph description with what you want to do and any links to your projects. * Table at the Book Fair * Sponsor the Book Fair & get your name and of course we will get your name & project out via all our networks. * Contribute your art, music, or other talents. (art@anarchistbookfair.com) * Bring food to share, get your local chapter of Food not Bombs involved. * Host a fundraising event. Panel & Workshop - Schedule============ 12:00– 1:00 The Economic Workings of a New Society By John A Imani (Revolutionary Autonomous Communities Los Angeles) An overview of the workings of all societies to be followed by discussions and questions regarding the economic workings of our current capitalist society, and how the new society—that we all want and need— and how we might solve the problems left after the demise of capitalism. We will further discuss how we may chart new ways of thinking and new manners of relationships amongst ourselves.
