The Industrial Worker, the official newspaper of the Industrial Workers of the World, can be purchased at the following locations in Manhattan :

Saint Marks Book Shop
31 Third Avenue on the corner of Stuyvesant Street which is actually the block north of St Marks Place. They are open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to Midnight, Sundays 11 am to Midnight. This is located at 31 Third Avenue between 8th and 9th Streets, we are convenient to the 6 Train at Astor Place and the N/R Trains at Broadway and 8th Street.

Unoppresive Non-Imperialist Bargain Books
34 Carmine Street , Greenwich Village, 1 212 229 0079
Between Bleecker and Bedford Street
Sun- Thurs 11AM to 10 PM Friday and Saturday 11AM to Midnight.

All their books are discounted ( so they sell the IW for only $1.50)!

These are both independent bookstores. Both were very glad to see that the IWW is doing things and glad to sell the IW to support our efforts. I told them about the Flaum campaign, Pur Pac, Starbucks, Jimmy Johns and other things. Several people at each store were very interested . It was nice to be able to tell someone about these things for awhile, some customers listened too.    -TK
