Songs are a Sydney-based band that do what they do best, simple post-punk. Their self-titled debut doesn’t do anything too fancy, but it’s done in a perfect fashion. “Different Light” was the track that really attractived them to me, just super catchy lively post-punk. They are signed to Australian label Popfrenzy, along with many other artists including Black Mountain, Ponytail, and Throw Me The Statue.
