He was the wet blanket in everything we would embark on, I’d often lose my temper. “We haven’t even tried it yet and you’re saying that it can’t be done?” I screamed ... It dawned on me, though, that during all those times we ventured into the unknown and survived, he was observing and apparently chuckling as I learned yet another lesson ... More like, why not? What if it can be done?....

Babies who have not yet learned to speak are in an even worse situation ... What has he done to help the children at least be in telephone contact with their parents? Where are his public outcries for these families? Where are the letters to ICE and DHS? He has no public statements telling ICE and DHS to promote contact and reunification of parents and children. Where are his congressional hearings?....
