WNBA Finals: Seimone Augustus and Amber Harris on Minnesota Lynx "pack of support"
15258 fans traveled to Target Center to watch the Minnesota Lynx defeat the Atlanta Dream in game 1 of the WNBA Finals. The crowd was the second largest in Lynx history, a few hundred shy of a 2004 regular season game when Lindsay Whalen made her first visit to Minnesota as a professional basketball player when she was a member of the Connecticut Sun. Seimone Augustus, just shy of leading the scoring race in the 2011 post-season (Angel McCoughtry holds a slight advantage), and reserve Amber Harris talk about the fan support in game 1 and how a sports market that previously ignored the franchise is now revering them with celebrity status.

Classic WNBA: Los Angeles Sparks vs. Phoenix Mercury (June 18th, 2004)
#3 in Tee Moore's request line The Los Angeles Sparks had no trouble dispatching various teams in the first few years of the WNBA. The Phoenix Mercury was one of them, only losing to them once in 1997. The Mercury had yet to defeat the Sparks at their America West Arena home, despite the talent Phoenix mounted in its first few years. The Mercury was a threat once more in 2004, drafting UConn star Diana Taurasi. Taurasi wasted no time establishing herself as one of the WNBA's best, averaging 17 points per game her rookie season. Her contributions in this game stopped what appeared to be a Sparks runaway. The commentary you hear is from the Mercury's radio crew.
