ifoAppleStore.com is reporting that they have received tips that Apple will be opening yet another Apple Store in Canada, this time in Halifax at the Halifax Shopping Centre in Nova Scotia. ( )

Accounting software company Intuit announced that it has appointed Jeff Cates as managing director of Intuit Canada. Before joining Intuit, Jeff Cates led the consumer and enterprise division at Apple Canada. Intuit has stated that Cates will lead its strategic growth and its go-to-market strategies for its small business and consumer offerings. ( )

It's $27.99 per year. Has anyone signed up yet? Curious to see how long it takes to upload / download. It might be worth it just for the album art and proper ID3 tags for my ripped CD's from way back when.

Last week, us Canadians got a little glimpse of a TV show purchase option on our Apple TV's, although the feature wasn't fully functional. The next day, the option for TV shows disappeared. Last night, Apple flicked the switch and fully turned the feature on and made TV show purchases for Canadians a reality on our Apple TV's with a plethora of content available from a wide variety of networks.
