Reality TV runs the gamut from wildly entertaining to painfully boring, but there's one aspect that's always a perfect 10: the lovely host. Whether contestants are trying to sew, dance, cook or style hair, the highlight of the show is always seeing the radiant reality show host judging the competitors. Here are some of the most beautiful women working as reality TV hosts today.
Padma Lakshmi, "Top Chef"
We've seen her rock a bikini on "All Stars" and tons of designer gowns over the course of this Emmy-winning series. Plus, she makes those burgers in the Carl's Jr. ads look absolutely incredible. It's refreshing to see an Indian host on U.S. television, and her complete confidence in spite of her large scar speaks volumes about her character. Her poise and wonderful sense of humor place her at the top of the hosting pyramid.
Heidi Klum, "Project Runway"
We love a woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind, and Heidi has nailed the balance between brash and sweet. She's one of the hardest judges to please, and she won't hold back if a design comes down the runway in a state of disarray. She looks great no matter what she wears, and like Padma, she has a radiant glow when she's expecting. While the next installment in the "Runway" franchise is an "All-Stars" season that won't be hosted by Klum, we're hopeful that Angela Lindvall will bring Heidi's signature blend of insight and snark to the next season, premiering in January.
Eva Marcille, "Hair Battle Spectacular"
This Oxygen reality competition program may not get the same ratings as "Project Runway" or "Top Chef," but Marcille brings a fierce attitude to her hosting duties. An alumni of a reality show herself, this former "America's Next Top Model" contestant is lovely, and still manages to seem credible when the producers feed her cheesy lines.
Cat Deeley, "So You Think You Can Dance"
Nothing classes up an American reality program like a host with a British accent. She's a breath of fresh air on a show that can get a little catty. Plus, she looks great in a designer gown.
Tyra Banks, "America's Next Top Model"
Tyra may have been lampooned by "Family Guy" and "Saturday Night Live," but she lets her haters be her motivators. And it's not just any woman who can create, host, produce and judge her own reality series. She may come off as a diva to some, but Tyra is one of the best hosts on reality TV today.
