NBC Shutting Down Production on Prime Suspect

Excuse Me! with all the crap that is out there, Yes it deserves a second chance. If She would quit playing around with that ugly prop Hat and just Act, she is good. She doesn't have to be so Columbo! Reality shows Suck! leave us something good to watch!

Then NBC wonders why it's always last in the ratings.It's because if they actually have a decent show ,they cancel it.Leave this show alone,and it just might get stronger as it goes on.I remember when they wanted to cancel Cheers,and Seinfeld.Maybe CBS will pick up the show,and make it a hit.That would serve those clowns running NBC entertainment right.

This has been one of the few shows I enjoyed this season. I didn't expect it to be a carbon copy of the BBC version interesting in it's own way. I wish it would stay on.

Don't cancel this show. seems anytime you get a female leading actress that kicks some butt. they cancel the show. example Saving Grace, The Division, and now Prime Suspect. All great shows.

I cannot believe they are shutting down Prime Suspect. For those of us who do not have the money for a gazillion stations, this is one of the very few excellent programs for us to watch.
It reminds me of Homicide: Life on the Streets. That show produced Oscar winners.
Move it to a different time slot or at least try before pulling it. It never fails!!

What is NBC going to replace it with...Kim K and her babbling family? #$%$..This is a good show and is still building characters and steam.....

Great show! what is wrong with NBC??? they give us stupid sit coms that are not funny at all, and take off a good show like Prime Suspect. TV is getting terrible! NBC should definatly reconsider!

I hope another station picks up Prime Suspect. Maria Bello is a breath of fresh air and frankness!

God, I HATE reality television! Please don't replace Prime Suspect with some stupid version of the Kardashian nitwits. Prime Suspect is a pretty good show that makes you think. This is a prime example of why networks with the likes of Bones, Rizolli and Isles, and The Closer are kicking NBC's arse.

No women in tight or low cut dresses. Didn't have a chance.

This is one of the very few shows I watch and look forward to. I'm bummed...

I knew the streak would end eventually. This is the first cancellation of a show that I was actually watching and liked. So far all the cancellations had been garbage shows. Sorry to see this show go. I hope CBS picks it up, they have really come out with lots of awesome shows the last few years.

That's too bad as I liked this show....and I definitely don't want another F*&^&in reality show....they can stick them on their own channel for all I care

Easy----Move it to HBO or Showtime it will be an instant hit

I really like this show...The network needs to give time to grow in popularity. This show will grow over time. There are so many new shows out there this season...it will take awhile to really get settled into a spot and draw an audiance. This show has great potential.

I've been watching it On Demand whenever I can each week - watched a couple twice. I was hoping we'd get at least a full season! It needed a less challenging night and should have had a better ad campaign to begin with - they made like the hat was the star of the show. Like Homicide, real quality, and you'd never have known it from the promos. I expected Bello to be good but the plots and scripts have been great too.

Figures---it is a good show. Let's put on another stupid reality show; how about another Kardashian? Surely they all have dogs and they could do a show about them and then they could market dog accessories and clothing. Prime Suspect is something with intelligent story lines, good acting, etc.
