    I don't love horror shows or movies because I'm a scaredy cat and I know it. Nevertheless, I find this show has enough plot in order for people to get into it if they look for something besides the 'horror'. I find the characters deep (although I don't like many of them) and after only a season I realise I'm... more invested in their stories. The relationships are interesting and the mythology of the series (the house, the ghosts, their pasts, the new baby, etc) are a mystery I'm willing to investigate! I just hope they expand on it next season.

  • You can't possibly have an idea what will happen next on the show

    For what it is, it's truly brilliant. But you have to accept the idea of having no protagonist and surprising (but a bit random, I have to admit) plot twists in the show. When you start watching, you can't possibly have an idea what this show becomes or where it leads you, you actually don't even know what the story... more is and if all will eventually make sense. It won't make perfect sense though, mind you, but LOST's ending was a lot worse to be honest.

    And that is, where other shows would miserably fail, American Horror Storys biggest strength. You don't know what will happen next! It is the essence of Horror, it's what every Horror movie strives to achieve, and many fail to do. I can't wait to see the finale!

  • Another Way To See It

    The single most commented idea I've come across for this show is the lack of hero character's within this show. I've spent a while reflecting on this, and I've begun to think that the shows arcing to have potential for really interesting protagonist. If the show continues as is with possibly no one to root for then I say "BRING... more IT ON"! It's flipping horror guys. You don't have to have good guys for horror to hit the mark. All you need is a well conceived villain, and then the people want to know if evil wins or loses. If you don't like dark shows then there's other shows on air. It's refreshing I can watch a show where I expect the best thing to happen every week and the result is getting it wrong week to week. Isn't that a good thing??

    I love this show. Maybe im a baby, but it scares me! And i love it! How this series will continue, i have no clue because they seem to kill everyone off, but i really hope it does. The idea that its over in one more episode makes me SO sad! I read a couple of the previous posts and... more i agree with the posters who talk about the lack of hero. I was really starting to like Tait, but now.... I really enjoy the show and i hope it continues to be as awesome as i think it is right now! :)
