В.Путин.6 Ежегодная большая пресс-конференция (Putin) Part 4
6 Annual Big Press Conference Part 4 February 1,2007 President of Russia V.Putin Round Hall, the Kremlin,Moscow VLADIMIR PUTIN: My pleasure. We are constantly being fed the argument that Russia is using its current and emerging economic levers to achieve its foreign policy goals. This is not the case. The Russian Federation has always abided by all of its obligations fully and completely, and it will continue to do so. But we have no obligation to provide huge subsidies to other countries economies, subsidies as big as their own national budgets. No one else does this, and so why are we expected to do it? That is the first point. Second, our actions, and the agreements we reach with the transit countries, are aimed above all at ensuring the interests of our main consumers. I can assure you that the experts understand this full well. Just recall how it was when we signed a contract each year with Ukraine for both gas supplies to Ukraine and for gas transit to Western Europe, and our consumers in Western Europe always depended on us being able to reach an agreement with our partners in Ukraine. But now we have separated these two aspects and created market conditions for transit. As I just said, the experts understand this situation very well; thanking us would be more appropriate, but instead, we see a dishonest attitude to the interpretation of events taking place. This is, of course, the work of Russias ill-wishers. I am not suggesting that this is something going on at ...

Pet Care: Internet Retailing and Future Prospects
Pet Care: Internet Retailing and Future Prospects
www.euromonitor.com Emily Woon, Head of Pet Care Research, explains the importance of internet retailing in pet care and the future prospects of the industry. Internet retailing in pet care has become popular in some areas - such as South Korea, but is still a niche category in places like Western Europe. Most physical stores have launched online stores in the past decade. For future prospects, Woon states that pet care services must concentrate on product portfolios and well-trained staff members to continue growth in this retailing sector.

TheRealAix's WAKE UP July 22, 2009, 12:00 PM
www.tubewatcher.tv NOW YOU KNOW remix .world music Examples of popular forms of world music include the various forms of non-European classical music (eg Japanese koto music, Indian raga music, Tibetan chants), eastern European folk music (eg the village music of the Balkans) and the many forms of folk and tribal music of the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Oceania and Central and South America. The Breton musician Alan Stivell pioneered the connection between traditional folk music, modern rock music and world music with his 1970's album Renaissance of the Celtic Harp.[6] The broad category of world music includes isolated forms of ethnic music from diverse geographical regions. These dissimilar strains of ethnic music are commonly categorized together by virtue of their indigenous roots. Over the 20th century, the invention of sound recording, low-cost international air travel and common access to global communication among artists and the general public has given rise to a related phenomenon called "crossover" music. Musicians from diverse cultures and locations could readily access recorded music from around the world, see and hear visiting musicians from other cultures and visit other countries to play their own music, creating a melting pot of stylistic influences. While communication technology allows greater access to obscure forms of music, the pressures of commercialization also present the risk of increasing musical homogeny, the blurring of regional identities, and ...

Syberia PC Game Trailer
Syberia PC Game Trailer
Syberia Trailer Kate Walker, a young ambitious lawyer from New York, is handed what seems a fairly straight forward assignment - a quick stopover to handle the sale of an old automaton factory hidden in the alpine valleys, then straight back home to the US. Little did she imagine when embarking on this task that her life would be turned upside down. On her expedition across Europe, traveling from Western Europe to the far reaches of Eastern Russia, she encounters a host of incredible characters and locations in her attempt to track down Hans, the genius inventor - the final key to unlock the secret of Syberia. Her voyage across land and time throws all she values into question, while the deal she sets out to sign turns into a pact with destiny. I do not own this trailer, Syberia, or anything associated with it. Thank-you!

Patrice Pike - "Hold You": SXSW 2012 Showcasing Artist
Austin, Texas is known for its laid back, bohemian yet ultra committed music scene--something Austin native Patrice Pike immediately conveys. She's been a professional musician and songwriter since she was sixteen, but has maintained such a raw, down-to-earth quality and irrepressible talent that Billboard magazine proclaimed her "one of the finest up and coming contemporary rock singers in America". On the surface you may hear about these things but there's more than meets the eye and the music biz spins... Pike is known to many as the electric front woman for the seminal Austin jam band Sister Seven which she co-founded when she was barely out of The High School for the performing and visual arts at Booker T. Washington in Dallas Texas. Their first major label album was a rare and unique live recording which at that time was unheard of in the music industry for a new breaking band. Patrice wrote and sang Sister Seven's top 10 Billboard hit "Know What You Mean'. She was the USA Songwriting Competition Grand Prize Winner overall for the song "My Three Wishes", co-written with her Sister Seven band members. In this contest she also garnered top prize for Pop category for "Nobody Knows" written with famed songwriter/producer John Shanks. And then, before stardom ever fully materialized, it evaporated. The band lost its label affiliation in the much publicized Arista shakeup that culminated in the firing of music industry legend Clive Davis. Patrice's band mates needed to be ...

Before You Dismiss Me as Some Crazy, Do the Research--And Talk to Randy Quaid, Fellow TI
It's very disturbing to find oneself in a situation where they either have to risk being seen as insane or risk being dead by refusing to speak out because they're afraid people will think they're crazy. Having a son to think about, one who has, himself been attacked by these criminals, I had to choose a path that, if I did not KNOW I will be vindicated, could do as much damage as the criminals continue to try to do to my life. It's hard enough to be in this situation without people like these sending insulting messages. Who needs someone making fun of the injury being done to your life? Who needs someone applauding the criminals? And why are these emails and comments almost always nearly identical in tone and comment? I don't bother debating these fools anymore. Their ignorance, if it doesn't already speak for itself, will. And they may find themselves having to explain it before people far more intimidating than, apparently, they find this outspoken female who is just trying to GET her life back. Humans tend to deny atrocities, particularly when they are unable to understand them, can't believe it could possibly happen "here", feel uncomfortable dealing with them, or simply refuse to believe them. But, how many times in the past when, American deny such atrocities, do they turn out to be true? How many must die or be permanently scarred before we take several hundred thousand people in our country asserting that this is happening to them at taxpayer expense (YOUR money ...

The Buzz on Electronics in Hong Kong
The Buzz on Electronics in Hong Kong
Shoppers of consumer electronics in both mature and emerging markets have fuelled growth in the electronics industry with each release of better, smarter phones, tablets and other devices. But the advent of the European debt crisis and the spectre of another global recession have taken some of the shine off a sector seemingly unscathed by the 2008 global financial crisis. Still, there's plenty of life in the market, according to global traders. Product Prospects To gauge the health of the market, a survey was done at the HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2011 (Autumn Edition), 13 to 16 October 2011. The fair is the largest event of its kind in the world. Interviews were conducted with 507 buyers and 302 exhibitors, who were asked about the prospects for electronics and the impact of the debt crisis. Exhibitors expect lower retail prices in 2012 The survey revealed that about half the buyers (some 46 per cent) and 39 per cent of the exhibitors forecast that the debt crisis will lower electronics sales by about 10 per cent over the next 12 months. The majority of respondents indicated that the United States, along with such western European countries as Italy, Spain and Greece, are the markets most affected by the debt crisis. But fewer than 10 per cent of respondents named Asian countries, including the Chinese mainland and Japan, as equally affected. Nevertheless, 25 per cent of the fair exhibitors believed that their clients' payment risks were increasing, and 12 per cent ...
