WSM (branded The Legend) is a 50,000 watt AM radio station located in Nashville, Tennessee. It broadcasts a full-time country music format at 650 kHz and is known primarily as the home of The Grand Ole Opry, the world's longest running radio program. The station's clear channel signal can reach much of North America and nearby countries, especially late at night. It is one of two clear-channel stations in North America, along with CFZM/Toronto, that still primarily broadcast music. Nicknamed "The Air Castle of the South," it shares its callsign with WSM-FM, also in Nashville, and formerly with television Channel 4, now WSMV.
WSM first signed on in 1925. It is primarily associated with the popularization of country music through its weekly Saturday night program, the Grand Ole Opry, the longest-running radio program in history. The Opry began as the WSM Barn Dance in 1925, but on December 10, 1927, the program's host, "Judge" George D. Hay, referred to the programming as being "Grand Ole Opry" in contrast to the preceding grand opera program on NBC. In 1932, WSM boosted its power to 50,000 watts, becoming Tennessee's first clear-channel station. In addition to its vast nighttime coverage area, the station boasts one of the largest daytime coverage areas in the country. It provides at least grade B coverage as far east as Chattanooga, as far north as Evansville, Indiana, as far west as Jackson, Tennessee and as far south as Huntsville, Alabama. Under the right conditions, it can be heard in nearly all of Tennessee and much of Kentucky, and can be picked up as far away as the fringes of the St. Louis area.
The 270 Winchester Short Magnum or 270 WSM is a short, unbelted, magnum cartridge created by necking down the .300 Winchester Short Magnum and fitting it with a .277 caliber bullet. The correct name for the cartridge, as listed by the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers' Institute (SAAMI), is 270 WSM, without a decimal point.
When it was introduced, the 300 WSM sported a new case that showed a lot of promise for uses in other calibers. In 2002 Winchester introduced new cartridges in its Winchester Short Magnum family, including the 7 mm WSM and 270 WSM. This new .270 cartridge was the third commercial .270 ever produced, and the first one in 60 years.
The 270 WSM is an improvement over the older 270 Winchester providing higher velocity with bullets of the same weight, and thus a flatter trajectory and more energy. Velocities tend to be about 250 ft/s (76 m/s) faster, in a cartridge that is shorter and can therefore be used in a shorter action for a more compact rifle if desired.
The .325 Winchester Short Magnum, commonly known as the 325 WSM is a 8mm caliber rebated rim bottlenecked centerfire short magnum medium bore cartridge. The cartridge was introduced by Winchester Ammunition in 2005.
The name of the cartridge is a misnomer as the bullet diameter is .323 in (8.2 mm). Introduced at the 2005 Shot Show in Las Vegas, NV, it is the largest member of the Winchester Short Magnum family of cartridges. The .325 WSM was intended for the hunting of medium and large bodied thin skinned dangerous and non-dangerous big game animals of Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.
Since the introduction of the .300 WSM in 2000 there had been speculation that Winchester and Browning would release further cartridges based on the cartridge case of the .300 WSM. Then in 2001 Winchester announced the release of the .270 WSM and the 7mm WSM cartridges. The common wisdom indicated that Winchester would release a .33 caliber (8.38 mm) cartridge based on the .300 WSM case. However, Winchester surprised the shooting public in 2002 when they introduced the .223 WSSM and the .243 WSSM based on a further shortened WSM case followed by the .25 WSSM in 2003.
.17 Winchester Super Magnum, is a rimfire rifle cartridge developed by the ammunition company Winchester in 2012. It descended from the .27 caliber nail gun blank by necking down the blank case to take a .17 caliber (4.5 mm) bullet. Initial loadings will be a 20 grain bullet, delivering muzzle velocities around 3000 ft/s .
Winchester, in conjunction with Savage, introduced this cartridge at the 2013 SHOT Show.
The brass case for this round is roughly 50% thicker than the 17 HMR, and the max average internal pressure is 33,000 psi, versus the 17 HMR's 26,000 psi.
Factory ammunition is available from Winchester, Federal American Eagle, and more recently Hornady.
Hornady 17 Win Super Mag and Federal Ammunition American Eagle® 17 Win. Super Magnum cartridges are currently only available with 20 grain polymer-tipped projectiles rated @3000 FPS at the muzzle.
Several options from Winchester are available, including Varmint HV 17 Winchester Super Magnum with a 20 grain polymer-tipped projectile rated at 3000 FPS, Varmint HE 17 Winchester Super Magnum with a 25 grain polymer-tipped projectile rated at 2600 fps, and Super-X 17 Winchester Super Magnum which is available with a 20 grain JHP projectile, also rated at 3000 FPS.

The triceps and lat combination within this superset upper body workout is guaranteed for a challenging session! The lat muscle refer to the Latissimus Dorsi muscle which means ‘broadest back’ as it is one of the widest muscles in the body and is the largest in the upper body. The lat muscle is used within many activities particularly swimming, rowing, pull ups, pull downs and resistance training rows. The lat muscle is a large v shaped muscle covering the width of the back that provides stability and protection for the spine. It allows for abduction, extension and internal rotation of the arm along with depression of the scapular. The lats are the base for a strong back to allow for safe training and to prevent overcompensating with other muscles during training therefore reducing ri...
