THE BILL OF RIGHTS... JUST ANOTHER BROKEN TREATY?

Prosecutors and federal agents manufactured evidence to frame an innocent man. They hid proof of his innocence; disobeyed court orders and lied to the judge; presented testimony obtained by threats and strong-arm tactics; and made improper statements to the jury. As a result, Leonard Peltier has spent over 35 years in prison for a crime he did not commit.

People are commonly set free due to a single constitutional violation, but Peltier—faced with a staggering number of constitutional violations—has yet to receive equal justice.

Many people believe that the Peltier case is an issue of "left" versus "right". It's not. It's an issue of right versus wrong.

The international headquarters of the Leonard Peltier Defense Offense Committee, located in Fargo, North Dakota, is the center of communication between Leonard Peltier and his legal team, program coordinators, the general public, government officials, political and tribal leaders, the media, and his supporters worldwide. We currently have chapters in Australia, Canada, Europe and throughout the United States.

Join these supporters and AIM for Freedom on behalf of Leonard Peltier.

Our work currently takes us in four directions:

  1. An award of Executive Clemency;

  2. A congressional investigation into the FBI's misconduct in Indian Country, against the American Indian Movement and in the case of Leonard Peltier;

  3. An Executive Review by the Attorney General; and

  4. The release of the tens of thousands of related case documents.

Any or all of these strategies may lead to Leonard's release.

Visit us often to learn more about our efforts to win Leonard Peltier's freedom, obtain campaign materials, and find out how you can help.
