Young immigrants launch film about their experiences in Ireland
One hundred and fifty people attended the premiere of Making Ireland Home, a film exploring the experiences of young immigrants last night in the Film Base, Temple Bar.

President McAleese at MRCI's 10th Anniversary Celebration
President McAleese honoured MRCI's 10 years of working for social change
at an event in Dublin's Mansion House on 12th October. The event was
also attended by migrant activists, supporters and collaborators from
trade unions and community and voluntary organisations. An anniversary film was screened during the evening.

MRCI Director receives Scholarship Award
Siobhán O’Donoghue received the prestigious Captain Cathal Ryan Scholarship Award at an official ceremony hosted by The One Foundation in Dublin last Wednesday, in recognition of her work to promote equality and social justice in Ireland.

Members of the Restaurant and Catering Workers Forum held a public demonstration at last night's Annual Irish Restaurant Awards, hosted by the Restaurant Association of Ireland, to call on the Association to stop its attack on workers' minimum wages and conditions.
