Arthur Kane (February 3, 1949 – July 13, 2004) was a musician best known as the bassist for the pioneering glam punk band the New York Dolls. He stated in the 2004 documentary film New York Doll that his nickname, Arthur "Killer" Kane, was inspired by an early New York Dolls concert newspaper review in which the journalist remarked about his "killer bass" playing. He also suggested it was inspired by the old Buck Rogers comic strip's villainous character Killer Kane. Kane remained part of the Dolls from their founding, until he was forced out of the group shortly after the departure of Johnny Thunders and Jerry Nolan. He joined them for a reunion show in 2004, which was the subject of the aforementioned 2004 documentary New York Doll. Singer-songwriter Robyn Hitchcock wrote a tribute to Kane, "N.Y. Doll", for his 2006 album, Olé! Tarantula.

Daddy Yankee
Ramón "Raymond" Luis Ayala Rodríguez (born February 3, 1977), known artistically as Daddy Yankee, is a Latin Grammy Award winning Puerto Rican reggaeton recording artist. Ayala was born in Río Piedras, the largest district of San Juan, where he became interested in music at a young age. In his youth he was interested in baseball, and aspired to become a Major League Baseball player. He was unable to continue this sport when he received an injury to one of his legs, leaving him unable to walk correctly. He then became involved in the underground rap movement that was in its early stages in Puerto Rico, later to be called Reggaeton. After receiving lessons from several artists within the genre, he developed an independent career, first recording in a production titled Playero 37. After this he began to produce independent albums. His first solo album was No Mercy. He subsequently formed a duo with Nicky Jam, and then continued his solo career with the releases of El Cartel and El Cartel II. This led him be one of many pioneers of the reggaeton genre.

He returned to the cabinet on 15 February 2006 as Minister for Employment and Social Protection. He resigned from his position on 28 April 2007 after a bonds scandal that broke up in Greece.

The Battle of Caseros was fought near the town of Caseros, more precisely between the present-day train stations of Caseros and Palomar (the actual battlefield is now occupied by the Colegio Militar de la Nación (National Military College), a military academy) in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, on 3 February 1852, between the Army of Buenos Aires commanded by Juan Manuel de Rosas and the Grand Army (Ejército Grande) led by Justo José de Urquiza. The Spanish Empire () consisted of the territories and colonies administered directly by Spain in Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia or Oceania. Twin Peaks Tunnel
The Twin Peaks Tunnel is a long light rail transit/streetcar tunnel in San Francisco, California, United States, running under Twin Peaks. When it was opened on February 3, 1918, it was one of the longest railway tunnels in the world (Paris Métro's line 1, opened in 1900, beat it by a few miles, as did some of the London Underground lines). It was the longest U.S. railway tunnel west of New York City. The service through it has evolved from streetcars into light rail, and while there are longer light-rail tunnels elsewhere (such as Portland's Robertson Tunnel), the Twin Peaks Tunnel remains one of the world's longest streetcar or light-rail tunnels. It runs from the intersection of Market Street at Castro Street in the east to the West Portal neighborhood in the west. There are two stations along the tunnel, Forest Hill Station, near the western end, and the now disused Eureka Station, near the eastern end.

Career
Early history
Maverick Sabre was born in July 12, 1990 in Hackney, London;England. During his childhood Sabre moved to Ireland, where he grew up in New Ross, County Wexford, but later returned to London to pursue a musical career.
Breakthrough (2010 – 11)
Sabre's career began in 2008 when he appeared on the album ''Sense The Terror'' by Irish rappers Terawrizt and Nu-Centz. Sabre appeared on two tracks: ''Lucky'' and ''Used To Blame''. Sabre furthered his career in 2009 when he featured on Jermicide & Danny Digg's album ''Middle Class'', collaborating on three tracks: ''Afraid'', ''Where We Go'' and ''Still With Me''. Sabre then returned to working with his earlier cohorts, featuring on Terawrizt's album ''Written in Stone'' and Terawrizt & Nu-Centz' album ''Sense The Terror 2'', appearing on tracks such as ''Life Fly By''. On 25 November 2010, Sabre released his debut mixtape, ''The Travelling Man'', in the United Kingdom. The release was a free digital download and featured the track ''Sometimes'' along with a promotional video to accompany the song. On 6 January 2011, ''Sometimes'' was released as a promotional single without rapper Wretch 32. Sabre guested on drum and bass duo Chase & Status's second studio album ''No More Idols'', on a track entitled ''Fire In Your Eyes''. He also features on ''Sleepless'', a song regularly performed live by Chase & Status, however no studio version has been released to date. Sabre featured on Professor Green’s fourth single ''Jungle'', released on 1 January 2010, which was featured on the album ''Alive Till I'm Dead''. The single debuted at number 34 on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at 31 the following week. On 28 February 2011, Maverick released his debut single ''Look What I Done'', taken from the extended play ''The Lost Words'', released on 7 March 2011. On 19 April 2011, Sabre performed with a live band on BBC2’s Later… with Jools Holland. After his performance of Oasis's ''Wonderwall'' on Chris Moyles' BBC Radio 1 Comic Relief show, Maverick's extended play ''The Lost Words'' reached number 2 in the iTunes Store Top Ten Songs chart. In 2011, he also appeared on The Script's ''Science & Faith Tour'' supporting the Irish band on their sell out tour and performed his future hit 'Let Me Go' which entered the UK Top 40 singles chart at number 16 in August 2011.
2011-Present: Debut Album
On 25 July Maverick Sabre's first single "Let Me Go" was released and entered the UK chart at number 16.

Adele Sandé, known by her stage name Emeli Sandé , is a Scottish R&B; and Soul recording artist and songwriter, born and raised in Alford, Scotland. Before pursuring her musical career, Sandé studied medicine at University of Glasgow.
Sandé first became known to the public eye after she featured on rapper Chipmunk's debut single, "Diamond Rings", which gained herself and Chipmunk a first top 10 singles on the UK Singles Chart. In 2010, she appeared again on Roll Deep star, Wiley's "Never Be Your Woman", which became another top ten hit. Simon Cowell called her "his favourite songwriter at the minute". She has written for a number of artists, including Cher Lloyd, Susan Boyle, Preeya Kalidas, Leona Lewis, Cheryl Cole, and Tinie Tempah.
In 2010, she signed a publishing deal with EMI Music Publishing. She later announced that Virgin Records had given her a record deal. Sandé released her first solo single "Heaven" in August 2011, and her debut album, ''Our Version of Events'', is set to be released in November 2011. She also appears as a guest artist on Professor Green's single "Read All About It".
Early life
Sandé studied medicine at Glasgow University. She said that education was one of the most important things to her, stating that if her music career failed, she has education to fall back on. Sandé said that her manager, Adrian Sykes, waited patiently since she was 16, saying "Adrian really respects that I want to get an education behind me. He also knows my parents are keen that I finish university."
Career
2009–2010: Career beginnings
Sandé began writing tracks for artists such as Alesha Dixon, Chipmunk, Professor Green, Devlin, Preeya Kalidas, Cheryl Cole, and Tinie Tempah. She soon signed a record deal with Virgin Records and EMI Records. In an interview, she said "I was doing a show in London for 1Xtra and I met this guy called Naughty Boy. We got in the studio and we clicked work wise. We just started writing, not necessarily for me, we just thought ‘lets write a pop tune’ and experiment. And we wrote the Chipmunk track and I thought nothing of it. Naughty Boy sent it off to Chipmunk who really liked it and wrote his stuff around it." She signed a record deal with Virgin Records in 2010. She later signed another deal with EMI Records in early 2011. Sandé made her singing career debut in 2009 after appearing on the track she wrote for Chipmunk's first debut single, "Diamond Rings". The single charted at No. 6 on the UK Singles Charts, making it Chipmunk and Sandé's first ever Top 10 Hit. She later appeared on another single singing guest vocals, after collaborating with Wiley on his come back single "Never Be Your Woman", the single charted at number-eight on the UK Singles Charts becoming Sandé's second consecutive Top 10 Single.
2011–present: ''Our Version of Events'' and songwriting
While making her debut album, Sandé began to work with Tinie Tempah. She co-wrote "Let Go" which she provided guest vocals. She also stated working with Devlin after recording a song titled "Dreamer". Sandé later revealed she would be working on Alesha Dixon's upcoming album, ''The Entertainer''. She co-wrote the hit single "Radio" along with Shahid Khan. and co-wrote tracks on Cheryl Cole's albums as well as Professor Green's album, which Sandé gave guest vocals on. Sandé revealed her first solo single would be released in early 2011. There was some speculation surrounding what track she would release, after many newspapers stated that it would be "Daddy". The first official single from her upcoming debut album was "Heaven" and was released on 14 August 2011. The song has received positive reviews from blogs such as This Must Be Pop and Robot Pigeon.She revealed that she is Simon Cowell's favourite song-writer at the moment; due to her writing songs for Leona Lewis, Susan Boyle and Cher Lloyd. Sandè stated in an interview; she said that she would love to meet Boyle after writing songs for her saying, "I haven’t met her yet. I just sent her the song. I’d love to meet her because I think she is a bit of a rock star. Leona had heard a couple of songs so we had a week in the studio with her. Leona and I got along really well. Then we had another week together. It was very natural. She recorded a song called Trouble and another called Mountains, so I look forward to hearing them on her album." It was revealed after Professor Green announced his album tracking list for his album, ''At Your Inconvenience'', that Sandé would feature on the first single from the album, "Read All About It". The single is set to be released in October 2011, a week before the album is released.
