I'm taking a quick break from SXSW to post this set as it's been on repeat for me the last few days.

Have you head of this guy? Im not sure how well known he is in the US - but Sondre Lerche, a Norweigan born Singer Songwriter is one of the finest craftsmen of sugary pop out there today.

This show was just.. sweet. I'm sure once you hear the tracks you will know exactly what Im talking about. Sondre has a beautiful, pristine voice that rides a top his boppy-acoustic-guitar based tunes. You just can't help but love the songs after one listen.

I actually discovered him the day before this show. I make it a habit to check the sites that keep me abreast of what shows are playing every day, and saw Sondre's name listed on Space City Rock and google'd him to learn more. After listening to 3 mp3s on his site I knew I had to attend his shows.

As described above, this is an absolutely lovely performance - with Sondre playing solo with a collection of acoustic and electric guitars. Start with All Luck Ran Out if you want a flavor of what he's like.
