Holiday parties are coming up and what better way to accessorize than with a fun, bold cocktail ring. And, while a sparkly necklace or bracelet might not work during the day, you can get lots of wear out of a ring-meaning more bang for your buck!
Teardrop Ring
Banana Republic Red Teardrop Ring
We love the simplicity of this teardrop-shaped solitaire ring from Banana Republic ($45). The large single stone stands out without being overly flashy-making it perfect for both day and evening wear.

pantyhose, but for most of us, the sheer legwear is a distant memory, more associated with our mothers' generation, than our own. Pantyhose (literally hose with an attached panty) came on the market in 1965, timed perfectly with that decade's miniskirt craze. While nude stockings remained popular in the '70s and '80s as women increased their presence in the workplace, bare legs became an acceptable office look in the '90s, and our gams have been liberated ever since. Until now. With style icon Kate Middleton strutting in silky nylons, pantyhose are poised for a comeback and the beloved retro brand, L'eggs, (Remember them? They've been around since 1969) is jumping on the opportunity. The company has a sexy modernized campaign meant to appeal to a new generation of young women.

Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is famous for getting drunk, tanning, styling her hair into a poof, falling down, exposing her private areas, and calling herself a meatball. She gets paid hundreds of thousands of dollars by MTV to do these things, and, frankly, some of us enjoy watching her because, well, it's entertaining. But how far does the public's love of Snooki really go? Apparently quite far! The reality star has a new HSN line of perfume, sunglasses, and other sundries, and, though it debuted just yesterday, many of the items have already sold out!
"
Last night Snooki appeared on HSN to debut her the line, which includes a signature fragrance, handbags, sunglasses, and a knockoff version of her favorite stuffed animal, "Crocodilly." While on air, she sprayed perfume on the toy crocodile, got a call from her cast mate JWoww, and somehow convinced people to shell out lots of money for Snooki gear.

Secondhand designer shopping gets a little tricky in the online world. Bereft of tactile senses, customers must consider new methods for spotting a fake. However, if you know what to look for, used luxury goods are a great way to save some money and score a really unique piece. Still a little nervous? Don't be. Here are five scam-proof tips to keep you safe:
1.) If the price is too good to be true, it probably is.
We can not stress this enough. Finding a Chanel, Hermés or Louis Vuitton bag for 75 percent off would feel like winning the lottery, right? Well, it's actually about as likely, if not less. Hitha Prabhakar, fashion writer and author of Black Market Billions: How Organized Retail Crime Funds Global Terrorists says if an in-demand item is put up for auction, "the open market will price it out-if it's real-to the price it's supposed to be."

It's true. For $199, you can buy the BagPed -- a stainless steel chair with a little shelf underneath for your bag. As someone who has minimal desk space at the office and hates having to put her purse on the floor, I kinda loved the idea. And for a hot second, I even considered buying it.

Until I realized that for $199, I could buy a whole new bag that I would get more use out of (... or even an entire outfit, like this one). And it didn't solve my out-of-office problems. Like most women, I take my purse to restaurants, gas station bathrooms, and dive bars. I'm obviously not going to carry around a chair just to store my purse.
But here's what really put it all in perspective for me. These purse hooks let you hang your bag from the table or bar, a...Read More » Neiman Marcus
Colorblocking -- graphically mixing colors for eye-catching contrast -- is everywhere you turn this season, and it's an easy way to look super stylish this fall. Neiman Marcus is all over the look this season, but even if you can't afford one of Fendi's two-tone dresses or Jason Wu's colorblocked sweaters, you can still get the look on a budget. Read on to find out how.
I just ordered this Muse colorblock dress (Last Call, $99), which is an additional 30 percent off this price if you order it before tomorrow. I can't wait to get it!

For a more casual look, I'm crazy about this colorblock tee (J.Crew, $39.50), which comes in several different color combinations.
I've also got my eye on this Inc. Colorblock Dress (Macy's, $69.99). CUTE.
Here's a sophisticated colorblock sweater dress from M.S.S.P. (Dillard's, $128). I'd totally wear it.
