Utah thief nabs Pennsylvania couple's wedding pics

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah (AP) — A Pennsylvania couple is offering a $1,000 reward in hopes their stolen wedding photos can be recovered after a vehicle break-in in Utah.

The Deseret News of Salt Lake City reports (http://bit.ly/svuKSk) Utah-based photographer Sean Sullivan had his gear and computer stolen from his truck Friday after he stopped to go fly fishing in Big Cottonwood Canyon.

Sullivan says the photos of Philadelphia couple Josh and Jennifer Smith were contained in the equipment that was taken when the passenger side window of his truck was smashed.

Sullivan says he had flown to Pennsylvania specifically to take the wedding photos and had supplied the couple with only two shots thus far.

Sullivan says his debit card also was taken and used at a nearby convenience store soon after the theft.

Listen up people !!!! Never leave anything in your car and I do mean anything. You cant trust trust anymore. With all the crime and unemployment out there,we are all sitting ducks and therefore are fodder for criminals and the cash strapped. Nothing is safe anymore and I mean nothing. God bless and protect us all except criminals.

Maybe he should not have stopped to fly fish.

What kind of bone-headed headline is that? The thief took a camera, computer and debit card. I'm pretty sure he wasn't looking to score some wedding photos.

I'd check the local pawn shops.

I blame the newlyweds. When interviewing a wedding photographer, ANY idiot knows the first question you should ask is, "Are you planning to go fly fishing in a remote canyon before you have stowed your equipment and computer with our wedding photos in a safe facility?" Live and learn......
