Zach and I met at 2 a.m. on January 1, 2013. Exactly two years later, he proposed, complete with a blessing from The Ol' Man. I'm 33 years old; no one's ever proposed to me before. I have't had practice. I've lived this day in my mind for 25 years, but that still didn't fully prepare me to absent-mindedly turn around, only to find the love of my life kneeling before me, essentially admitting that HE wants to spend his life with ME. Yes! A little bit crazy, slightly quirky and hopelessly weird me. Needless to say, my emotions leaked out my eyeballs... for about 30 minutes. Ugly cry hits at about 1:52. -Smithers Many thanks to our family and friends for their endless love, support and unforgettable photos. Video footage by David Wolfinbarger. Editing by Smithers. Feat. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077097/ The staff of a struggling radio station have a chance at success after the new programming director changes the format to rock music http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WKRP_in_Cincinnati WKRP in Cincinnati is an American situation comedy television series that features the misadventures of the staff of a struggling fictional radio station in Cincinnati, Ohio. The show was created by Hugh Wilson and was based upon his experiences working in advertising sales at Top 40 radio station WQXI (AM) in Atlanta. Many of the characters and even some of the stories (including the season 1 episode 7 "Turkeys Away") are based on people and events at WQXI.[1] The ensemble cast consists of Gary Sandy, Howard Hesseman, Gordon Jump, Loni Anderson, Tim Reid, Jan Smithers, Richard Sanders and Frank Bonner.[2] Like many other MTM productions, the humor came more from running gags based on the known predilections and quirks of each character, rather than from outlandish plots or racy situations,[citation needed] since the show has a realistic setting. The characters also developed somewhat over the course of the series. The series won a Humanitas Prize and received 10 Emmy Award nominations, including three for Outstanding Comedy Series. Andy Ackerman won an Emmy Award for Videotape Editing in season 3. WKRP premiered September 18, 1978 on the CBS television network, and aired for four seasons and 88 episodes through April 21, 1982. During the third and fourth seasons, CBS repeatedly moved the show around its schedule, contributing to lower ratings and its eventual cancellation. When WKRP went into syndication, it became an unexpected success, despite not reaching the desired number of 100 episodes for daily stripping.[3] (90 half-hour episodes were available for syndication, due to two of the first-run 88 episodes being an hour long.) For the next decade, it was one of the most popular sitcoms in syndication, outperforming many programs which had been more successful in prime time, including all the other MTM Enterprises sitcoms. Jump, Sanders, and Bonner reprised their roles, appearing as regular characters in a spin-off/sequel series, The New WKRP in Cincinnati, which ran from 1991 to 1993 in syndication. Hesseman, Reid and Anderson also reprised their roles on this show as guest stars. WKRP in Cincinnati,WKRP in Cincinnati season 1 episode 1,full episodesifull season, season 3 episode 2

WKRP premiered September 18, 1978 on the CBS television network, and aired for four seasons and 88 episodes through April 21, 1982. 1-23-15 - ( CNN ) - YouTube star GloZell got to interview President Obama yesterday, and today she responded to the “haters” who weren’t exactly happy with the idea. There was some grumbling from the press corps about YouTubers getting to interview Obama while they get shunned. But GloZell in particular got most of the attention, out of the three YouTube stars who interviewed Obama.

1-22-15 - ( Fox News ) - President Obama did an interview earlier today with three very popular YouTube celebrities. The press corps was somewhat flabbergasted by this, given the president’s reticence to engage with them more. Now, considering the three interviewers were all YouTube celebrities, they did actually throw some good questions the president’s way. But to Fox’s Howard Kurtz, an interview with YouTubers felt “beneath the dignity of the office” of the presidency. Both he and Megyn Kelly zoned in on GloZell, a YouTube comedian who they found to be funny, but couldn’t fathom why she got to interview the President of the United States. And not just for any interview, Kurtz noted, but for the president’s first post-State of the Union interview. He likened this to a “D-list Hollywood after party,” while Kelly wondered if she should be more like GloZell if she ever hopes to get to interview President Obama.
This is another project. I did not shoot it but I did edit it for my class. Enjoy.

The Examiner 2012-11-21Karin Jan Smithers (born July 3, 1949) is an American television and film actress best known for playing Bailey Quarters on the television series WKRP in Cincinnati.
Smithers grew up in Woodland Hills, California. She attended William Howard Taft High School in Woodland Hills. She first reached the public eye as a teenager, when she was featured on the March 21, 1966, cover of Newsweek, seated on a motorcycle.
As a teen, Smithers was the victim of a car accident that left a permanent scar on her chin. To avoid another car that had run a stop sign, Smithers swerved and hit a telephone pole. The impact smashed her face into the steering wheel, causing the injury. The scar cost her some roles and, according to her, made her feel insecure about her looks.
She was married to Kipp Whitman from 1 December 1971 to 1972, when they divorced.
From 1986 to 1995, she was married to actor James Brolin. They had one daughter together.
Although she had been living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and had retired from show business, she now lives in Ojai, California.
Christina Ann "Kristy" McNichol (born September 11, 1962) is an American actress.
McNichol is known for her roles as Leticia “Buddy” Lawrence on the television drama series Family and as Barbara Weston on the sitcom Empty Nest. She is also the sister of former child actor Jimmy McNichol. McNichol retired from acting when she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 1992.
McNichol was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Carolyn McNichol Lucas, a business manager and actress, and Jim McNichol, a carpenter. She has two brothers from that marriage: Thomas and Jimmy McNichol. Her parents divorced when she was six years old. When McNichol was 19 her mother married her much younger German boyfriend Siegfried Lucas. In the same year Lucas and McNichol's mother adopted McNichol's sister Jennifer Lucas.
McNichol appeared with her brother Jimmy in commercials and later, on her own, in guest appearances on such other series as Starsky and Hutch, The Bionic Woman, Love American Style and The Love Boat, thanks to family friend Desi Arnaz. Her first stint as a series regular came in the role of Patricia Apple in the short-lived CBS television series Apple's Way (1974).
