V Festival 2011

This years V Festival was a huge hit. The weather was good and the artists even better. This has got to be the best V-Festival line-up ever. With Eminem, The Script, Dizzee Rascal, The Wanted, Rihanna, DJ Mark Ronson and many, many more.

lil wayne in skating accident

Lil Wayne reportedly had a skating accident over the weekend which resulted in him having 9 stitches over his eye.

He tweeted : “The Lou was good but I busted my … head at the sk8park! 9stitches! Gnarly gash over my left eye! Luv the people” after being accompanied by a large entourage to the DePaul Health Center emergency room.

It is still unclear how it happened but what is clear is that some people should stick to what they do best and leave other things to the pro’s. Dude, youre too small to be out in public on your own, let alone on a skateboard.

 

Cristina Aguilera to remarry

According to reports, the 30-year-old singer has said she wants to marry Matthew Rutler whom she’s been dating for a few months now.
The star is smitten with her new fella and can’t stand being apart from him for even a minute, but friends are telling her to slow down as she’s only been divorced for four months.

Aguilera and ex-husband Jordan Bratman co-parent their three-year-old son Max. Last year they announced they would be going their separate ways after five years of marriage and have officially been divorced now for four months.

Rutler’s friends claim that he still has some growing up to do and wants to forge his own music career, and he’s not established in his career.  He’s still so young and struggling to find himself.

The Howard Webb football curse

Seems like many premiership fans are not fans of Howard Webb who appears to be a curse for a number of teams but a talisman for Manchester United who seem to have a good run while Howard Webb ref’s their matches.
The celebrated referee is due to ref this coming Sunday’s game between Manchester United and Arsenal and twitter is a buzz with complaints.
It would appear that certain teams and their fans are still looking for a scapegoat and Howard Webb will just have to step up and be the fall guy.

The 40 year old football official and Police Seargent has come under criticism in the past due to some unfair calls that he has made and he has conceded some mistakes.
Even if united win fair and square on the day, I can promise you that the fans will be singing a different tune and Webb will be put through the gauntlet again.

Suck it up kids, its football.
