It can be said that the sports of Goa are centered around its beaches. Goa can be the right destination for adventure sports. October to May is the best season to indulge in these water sports of Goa, because then the skies are cloudless and blue, which is mirrored by the waters below. As Goa receives heavy rainfall during June to September, these sports should be avoided in these months.

There are many water sports options in Goa such as para-sailing, water-skiing, and wind surfing. The fantastic beaches offer excellent opportunity for these adventure sports. Surfing is ideal at Dona Paula in the morning for starters, but in the evening it will be good for experienced people. Goa is also a wonderful destination for scuba diving. Some of the important sites for scuba diving in Goa include Suzy's Wreck, Sail Roack, Uma Guma Reef, Turbo Tunnel, Bounty Bay, Surge City and Davy Jones Locker.

Bogmolo, Dona Paula and Baga are the best places for parasailing. Those who are afraid of adventure sports can enjoy a ride in boat. Motor boats are better option for the speed enthusiasts. Many varieties of boats are available. Boats may reach a speed of 40 miles per hour. You can hire a boat and go for a ride from Dona Paula, Candolim, Colva and Majorda. Besides these, you can play beach volleyball or beach basketball. You can also go for horse riding and cycling or simply jog on the shoreline while the soft water circles at your feet.
