Toronto, ON (November 14, 2011) – Following today’s announcement about the world premiere of A RUSSELL PETERS CHRISTMAS, CTV unwraps its complete holiday lineups including14 all-new specials and movies on CTV and CTV Two. In addition to Peters, Michael Bublé headlines his own holiday special, followed by dozens of variety specials, program stunts, holiday-themed episodes, and special event movies, including the network television premieres of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and the digitally re-mastered Mary Poppins, airing in HD for the first time. Kicking it all off is CTV’s broadcast of THE SANTA CLAUS PARADE on CTV this Sunday, Nov. 20 at 4:30 p.m. in all markets (except 5:30 – 7 p.m. AT on CTV Two Atlantic). As previously announced, the one-hour A RUSSELL PETERS CHRISTMAS (Thursday, Dec. 1 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV) features Brampton, Ontario’s favourite son paying tribute to the holidays with a mix of stand-up, sketch, stop-motion animation, and musical performances, including Michael Bublé. Then, the multi-Grammy® and JUNO award-winning singer heads over to host his own one-hour special A MICHAEL BUBLÉ CHRISTMAS (Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV), featuring performances of classic holiday songs from his new CD and appearances by Justin Bieber, Kellie Pickler and more.
