Oh lordy, he’s at it again

Most readers will be vaguely aware that the Gorgeous One has a column in the Daily Record wherein he addresses his rapt audience of Glaswegian barflies. This, as you might recall, is where the great man chose to opine on the merits of Kylie’s arse. You would have thought he’d have learned from that experience, but noooo

Danni in M&S knicks and pyjamas as part of the new advertising campaign will surely help the store. Alongside the past adverts featuring Twiggy and Mylene and my favourite – Noemie Lenoir – the ad campaign of the high street warhorse has begun to get it back on its feet.

A good thing too. Their food is ace, their underwear terrific value. But their ads are marvellous. Take a look here and on YouTube.

At this point, Respect supporters will probably have an idea of how the Pope feels when he sees Fr Cantalamessa heading for an open mike.

I hope you weren’t the photographer for that shot SS.

      I hope George wasn’t.

I’m sure George will have a great deal to say about this story too (assuming you don’t beat him to it)

Drooling onanistic compulsions aside, what is GG’s thing about M&S? For years we thought they were major contributors to Israel, and then he refuted this a while back, or at least flagged up a change in policy(?). But now he’s doing PR for them? What gives?

Have they made a contribution to the Respect election fund? If not, they really should give something back to GG for all the unpaid PR he’s been doing on their behalf.

Cannon. Loose. Think Joe Biden doing a press conference after a few beers…

Nope! I still don’t see the connection.

    I can’t believe this!
A month to the general election and you’re talking about ladies’ knickers.
    Get a grip….

To be honest, the ones displayed are much too vanilla for my taste.
George obviously needs to visit “Fairy Goth Mother” next time he’s near Brick Lane.

I’ve no idea why it’s a political problem either.
I can think of at least 3 women in socialist organisations who wore suspenders and stockings in bed.
The fourth, who was the most feminist, sometimes wore none at all.
    Very nice too.

I can’t imagine a better time to do so.

probably, we should ask somebody who has some experiences in psychoanalytical theory what this says about Gorgeous George, or?

Splinty, are you sure you’re not thinking of loose canons?

“Businessmen on inflated salaries lecturing the rest of Britain on how to run the country are “utterly nauseating” and “being used” by the Conservative party, the Liberal Democrat Treasury spokesman, Vince Cable, says today. … More than 80 businessmen, including the executive chairman of Marks & Spencer, Sir Stuart Rose, have signed a letter, co-ordinated by the Tories, saying they oppose the national insurance rise, and believe the government should fund the potential gains through cutting waste.”

Still, As long as M&S food is ace and their undies terrific value …
