Bran Castle
Bran Castle (; ), situated near Bran and in the immediate vicinity of Braşov, is a national monument and landmark in Romania. The fortress is situated on the border between Transylvania and Wallachia, on DN73. Commonly known as "Dracula's Castle" (although it is one among several locations linked to the Dracula legend, including Poienari Castle and Hunyad Castle), it is marketed as the home of the titular character in Bram Stoker's Dracula. There is, however, no evidence that Stoker knew anything about this castle. There is evidence, however, that Vlad Tepes actually did use the castle during his raids into Transylvania.

Buşteni
Buşteni () is a small mountain town in the north of the county Prahova, in the center of Romania. It is located in the Prahova Valley, at the bottom of the Bucegi mountains, that have a maximum altitude of 2505 m. Its name literally means tree-logs in Romanian. One village, Poiana Ţapului, is administratively part of the town.

IULIAN ROMANIA ^^^ An Israeli Sikorski CH-53-type helicopter, which was taking part in a joint Romanian-Israeli drill, crashed in a mountainous area close to Bran, 140 kilometres (90 miles) north of Bucharest. Israel's air force trains in Romania to learn how to fight in foreign terrain, an Israeli military official said. "The deployment in Romania is needed for use of large theatres and challenging terrains, such as those that the Israel Defence Forces will possibly encounter in a future conflict," the official said.The crash occurred in the Carpathian mountains ! Witnesses quoted said they had seen three helicopters flying above the mountain region around Brasov.

The Bucegi Mountains are located in central Romania, south of the city Braşov. They are part of the Southern Carpathians group of the Carpathian Mountains. To the east, the Bucegi Mountains have a very steep slope towards the popular tourist destination Prahova Valley (ao Buşteni and Sinaia). At a higher elevation is the Bucegi Plateau, where wind and rain have turned the rocks into spectacular figures such as the Sphinx and Babele. The Bucegi is believed to be the Dacian holy mountain Kogainon, on which the mythical figure Zalmoxis resided in a cave.

Bucegi Mountains
The Bucegi Mountains (Romanian: Munţii Bucegi , Hungarian: Bucsecs-hegység) are located in central Romania, south of the city Braşov. They are part of the Southern Carpathians group of the Carpathian Mountains.
To the east, the Bucegi Mountains have a very steep slope towards the popular tourist destination Prahova Valley (a.o. Buşteni and Sinaia). At a higher elevation is the Bucegi Plateau, where wind and rain have turned the rocks into spectacular figures such as the Sphinx and Babele.
The Bucegi is believed to be the Dacian holy mountain Kogainon, on which the mythical figure Zalmoxis resided in a cave.
Ranges
The mountains are grouped in three ranges:The Bran Pass separates the Piatra Craiului and Leaota ranges; it was marked by border crossings between Wallachia and Transylvania, and was defended by the Bran Castle.
