At JFREJ, we're committed to developing our skills as organizers as we build power in solidarity with organizations led by workers, immigrants, people of color, and low-income New Yorkers. To this end, JFREJ is hosting Community Organizer Trainings each month as part of our campaign meetings. Join us for the first training on 1-to-1 meetings, also called Relational Meetings. Join us to learn about this vital building block of organizing and to think about the importance of building trust, agitating around an issue, exploring individual leadership, developing clarity, and building a base.

Join us for the Shalom Bayit Campaign Meeting on Sunday, October 30th. Take action in solidarity with domestic workes in NYC! We will continue to discuss our steps to implement the basic protections of the Domestic Worker Bill of Rights, organize with employers to move beyond these basic provisions towards a truly just system of community standards for domestic work, and build new partnerships locally and nationally as part of the recently-launched Caring Across Generations Campaign. In the next six months, we are looking to build a coaltion of employer constituencies that also includes senior and disability rights organizations: crucial allies in the struggle to create a just system for delivering quality care and dignity for all. Come and orgnaize with us to build a culture that respects the work that makes all other work possible!
