Three ways to help books to prisoners!

1.  Donate!

Every donation helps, no matter how small.

2. Help Books to Prisoners, organic fair trade farmers and village artisans!!

Our Equal Exchange end-of-year fundraiser has begun. In addition to offering delectable varieties of organic, fair-trade chocolate, coffee, tea, almonds, cranberries, we can now answer many holiday shopping needs with handmade gifts from Ten Thousand Villages, including earrings, greeting cards, hacky sacks, bamboo bowls and tablecloths, handmade tree-free gift wrap, gift baskets of all sizes, and more.

Equal Exchange gives Books to Prisoners a generous portion of each sale, so no matter how small or large your order, you will be guaranteeing that more prisoners will receive books.

Click here for a catalog of Equal Exchange products available.  When you know what you want, email Anne at plrnet@earthlink.net to order!

3. Support BTP just by buying books at Amazon

If you shop at Amazon, consider shopping through the search box below.

Whether you are looking for books on prison issues or other items, anything you purchase using this link will earn us a referral fee of 5%, which in turn helps us pay for postage to send books to prisoners.

Want to donate your new or used books?

You can help a prisoner by donating new or used paperback books to BTP.

Thank you letters from prisoners

BTP receives hundreds of thank you letters a year from prisoners who have received books.

Many prisons no longer have libraries and reading material is hard to get.  Most prisons require that books come from specified book stores or distributors.

 BTP T-shirts now available

Books To Prisoners t-shirts are now available for only $18.  Choose from 3 designs and 5 colors!

Support BTP and look good at the same time!
