Sen. Russell D. "Russ" Feingold received the National Intelligence Distinguished Public Service Medal from Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper Sept. 9, in a ceremony at the ODNI headquarters. Director Clapper recognized Sen. Feingold for his oversight as a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, and as the Committee on Foreign Relations subcommittee chairman on African Affairs.
