Systemic is both
⊕ a tool for advanced analysis of radial velocity data and transit timing (the "console"), and
⊕ a public partecipation simulation aimed at understanding observational biases in the detection of extrasolar planets.
The Systemic Console is a graphical tool for analysing radial velocity and transit timing datasets.
It includes:
- Interactive plotting of RV curves and transits, optionally folded;
- Line minimization, Levenberg-Marquardt and Simulated Annealing minimization schemes, including transit timing (primary and secondary);
- Multiple integration routines (pluggable custom integrators) and stability analysis;
- Periodograms;
- Bootstrap and MCMC;
- F-test and F-test significance analysis;
- Data de-trending;
- Data Point selection, allowing to selectively remove data points;
- Scriptable;
- etc.
The console package includes the most recent public radial velocity and transit data, and it is provided for free at oklo.org. Fits can be shared in the "backend" section on oklo.org and collaborative work between users is encouraged.
A "stable" version is provided for download here. Cutting-edge versions are available at the Cutting-edge download page, and are kept up-to-date on a monthly schedule.
