Fraud Alert for Sellers:
If you get an overly polite, generic email in response to one of your ads, with
the the anxious respondent asking how to pay for the item you want to sell,
it's probably a scam.
Here's the deal. These chuckleheads will send you a cashier's check or money
order drawn on what will turn out to be a worthless nonexistent bank. They're
even generous enough to overpay for the item or for shipping, but will ask you
to send the item immediately via a well-known shipper.
We know most Fizmo users are smarter than that. But just in case your
less-than-stellar brother in law gets taken in by this flimflam, please spread
the word.
