Ray… Jasper?

I have to agree with Boriswatch that it is striking how similar Boris Johnson’s defence of Ray Lewis is to Ken Livingstone’s defence of Lee Jasper. Both Mayor’s blame witchunts based around politically motivated attacks on a controversial subordinate designed to undermine the Mayor’s office. Both men deserve the chance to clear their names, and it’ll be interesting to see how they do so.

Ray Lewis’s response has been to deny everything, aggressively, definitively and in the full spotlight of the media. If those solid denials begin to fall apart, as Tory Troll suggests they are already doing, then Johnson’s public (and it has to be said, rather brave) public tying of himself to Lewis will become a real millstone around his neck. On the other hand, If Lewis is vindicated, then Johnson will have scored a major victory.

The most interesting report today comes from the Daily Mail, who say that Johnson’s office were seeking legal advice last week. This seems odd in the face of the denials from Lewis that he knew anything at all about this.

There is no election so a political point scored here and there is irrelevant in fact somewhat childish .Its a great shame if he is unable to continue and whether or not Ray Lewis is guilty of anything , he is a man who has spent years doing a lot of good whereas all Lee Jasper ever did was scrounge from Ken and co.`s potty racial equality slush fund .

I think your crowing is pointless really and will be perceived as such if it is mirrored by the hard left London mafia whose assorted nut cases were until recently so disliked by the Labour Party.
What’s more the state of Caribbean London is directly attributable to the Welfare driven destruction of the West Indian social structures by the housing and benefit craziness of the left and stands in stark contrast to the fabulous success of exactly the same people in the US where this was not the case. It is hard to think of a better example of the homicidal effect of socialism unless it is Glasgow East . Here r life expectancy is not as Clog claimed similar to the Gaza trip …oh no they should be so lucky . In some areas it is under 60 whereas the strip boasts a reasonable 72. You have to go to Gambia for a match.

This would be the most progressive place in Britain would it Hopi ?
