Undercurrents hosts a unique video archive of dissent (mostly from 1993 onwards). Collecting video tapes from video activists, campaigners,
video journalists and our own networks we now have 2000 hours of Betacam SP and DVCam images of protest.

Television Our archive is used regulary by more than 120 TV networks in 15 countries including the Sky,BBC, ITN, Channel 4, Sky, and CNN.
Cinema Our images have appeared in cinema movies such as Human Traffic, Farenheit 911 and the Glastonbury Movie
Music Our images have appeared in music videos for Chumbawamba, System of a Down amongst others.

Research / Broadcast
Undercurrents can supply Betacam SP tapes or DVCAM.
We supply preview mpeg fileswith on-screen Betacam SP or DVCAM timecode (BITC).

Contributing to the archive
If you are a video journalist/activist, undercurrents accepts Hi8, Betacam SP, DVCAM, or miniDV tapes on any of the subjects below. Original tapes are returned and copyright remains with the camera operator.Subjects we are interested in
