The Oct. 13 event launches a national campaign by anti-abortion activists to take ultrasounds on the road to schools, churches, anywhere legislators and others can see the unconscionably exploitative and intrusive spectacle of "our sons and daughters" in their "safe haven of love." So much for the dignity of life.

When a supposedly more tolerant Donald Rumsfeld sat down for an interview with Al Jazeera, it didn't take long for him to revert to sociopathic form, fuming at the audacity of anyone questioning him about anything - in this case, the inadequacy of U.S. planning in Iraq that led to thousands of civilian deaths. Rumsfeld has called Al Jazeera coverage “vicious, inaccurate and inexcusable.” He knows whereof he speaks. Video.
