East India Youth - Heaven, How Long
I might be a few days late to this brand new track from solo act East India Youth, but "Heaven, How Long" is an undeniably amazing track. The skewering backing synth continually rises through the cut, reaching an aching, almost primal peak before a shower of new wave percussion fill the atmosphere.
Pre-order East India Youth's upcoming Hostel EP here via Rough Trade, and check out the track below.

Monday Bears: New Antony and the Johnsons Video - Thank You for Your Love
Not totally content with wallowing in noir sorrows, Antony and the Johnsons released the first video from their new album Swanlights for "Thank You for Your Love." The video for the song, which also be featured on the group's Thank You for Your Love EP, slated for release tomorrow, features archival footage of Antony Hegarty's first visits to New York City as a teenager in the early 1990's.

Thursday Bears: New Strange Boys Video - Be Brave
Austin, Texas garage blues-punk revivalists the Strange Boys debuted the eponymous single of their full-length debut album Be Brave earlier today. The fuzzy, often sepia-toned video stands out like an indie-tuned summer-time get-together (so many hyphens), with little splashes of cheap sincerity and lame and therefore not so lame video effects.
Be Brave is set for release February 2 via In the Red-Rough Trade Records.
