Peter Gabriel-Before The Flood [Full Album]
These are the (primarily) piano demos that Gabriel recorded shortly after he departed Genesis, and before he made his initial return to the studio, with Phil Collins, Anthony Phillips and Mike Rutherford as a comfortable (but ultimately unsatisfying) safety net. And, it must be said, those are probably the demos most listeners would like to hear. These raw home recordings, however, are equally rewarding, as we hear Gabriel getting to grips not only with a couple of songs that would eventually make it onto his solo debut album ("Excuse Me," sans barbershop harmonies, and "Here Comes The Flood"), but a clutch more that have remained in the vault ever since. Gabriel was writing at the time with Martin Hall, a songwriter whom he'd known since they both contributed to the Colin Scott album back in 1971; how sad it is that the partnership was ultimately doomed to obscurity. True, the knockabout "No More Mickey" was offered to Charisma as a single during 1975, but nothing ever came of that; true, too, singer Alan Ross recorded a version of "Get The Guns," before Gabriel himself disemboweled it for the backbone of "Down The Dolce Vita." But who among us has even heard of Ross? And that still leaves "Howling At The Moon," "Funny Man" and "God Knows" to complete a collection that sounds more like demos for his second album, than the precursor of his first. One final song belongs on this disc, but does not appear -- "You'll Never Know," a Gabriel-Hall composition that did make it ...

Nephilim Giants Before The Flood and After - 1 of 5
11-1-12 My 6th book Sons of God: Who We Are and Why We Are Here has been released and is now available. www.tatepublishing.com www.blogtalkradio.com In this show, we trace the emergence of giants to the line of Cain and discuss their propagation through the flood. We will also discuss how both the line of Cain as well as the giants were allowed continuance through the flood in order that the enmity between the bloodlines would continue until the harvest at the end of days.

Peter Gabriel - Here Comes The Flood
Peter Gabriel performs "Here Comes The Flood" on the 1979 Kate Bush Christmas special. The song is featured on his first solo album "Peter Gabriel", also known as "Car". Lyrics: When the night shows the signals grow on radios All the strange things they come and go, as early warnings Stranded starfish have no place to hide still waiting for the swollen Easter tide There's no point in direction we cannot even choose a side. I took the old track the hollow shoulder, across the waters On the tall cliffs they were getting older, sons and daughters The jaded underworld was riding high Waves of steel hurled metal at the sky and as the nail sunk in the cloud, the rain was warm and soaked the crowd. Lord, here comes the flood We'll say goodbye to flesh and blood If again the seas are silent in any still alive It'll be those who gave their island to survive Drink up, dreamers, you're running dry. When the flood calls You have no home, you have no walls In the thunder crash You're a thousand minds, within a flash Don't be afraid to cry at what you see The actors gone, there's only you and me And if we break before the dawn, they'll use up what we used to be. Lord, here comes the flood We'll say goodbye to flesh and blood If again the seas are silent in any still alive It'll be those who gave their island to survive Drink up, dreamers, you're running dry.

Why I am no longer a creationist - Part 2: The Flood
Another major aspect of most Christian creationism is the belief in the global flood as found in the book of Genesis. There is so much evidence against the flood and for deep, geologic time that it was hard to decide what to leave out and what to cram into this video. Quite a few people commented on my last video about human evolution and said that Neanderthalensis and others in the Homo genus were just people from before the flood. Not only is that a nonsensical claim where the DNA and physiology is concerned; but also because all of the evidence disproves the flood hypothesis. Again, the worst offenders are mentioned here; and I don't want the average creationist taking offence at some of my harsher criticism. These professional creationists are lying to you. Look at the evidence. For further information, I would recommend watching the BBC documentary Men Of Rock ( www.youtube.com ); and check out the rest of the Evolutiondocumentary channel.

Hurricane Sandy Flooding on Long Island South Shore. Great South Bay Flooding South Shore
Hurricane Sandy on her way to landfall along coastal New Jersey and the storms big east wind is pushing the water into the Great South Bay on Long Islands South Shore. This video shows the flooding in several south shore towns well before the bays high tide and hours in advance of Hurricane Sandy coming ashore. The overnight high tide on 10/29 is promising to bring flooding to the south shore that has never been recorded before. A strong easterly wind will not let the water escape the back bay areas. Instead of dropping as normal, the water is held in place by the strong winds. This leads to the next high tide stage stacking the water up leading the the extremely high tides spilling over the canal banks along most of Long Island's south shore Maybe Tonight Fishing Charters fishes the waters of Great South Bay and Fire Island Inlet on Long Island New York for striped bass, bluefish, weakfish, fluke and other local species. Trivium - Tread The Floods *with lyrics*
This is a great song off of Trivium's 3rd album, The Crusade. The video also includes correct lyrics for the song. Lyrics: Stress, breaking my back Pulse is stuttering Pressure, mental attack My thoughts cluttering Beating this dead horse Is exhausting Heartbreaking To see my hands shaking I'm knee-deep in the dead Still wading Still wading in this This well-called life Nervousness halting all will Forcing apathy Anxiety an aching chill Hammering down me Beating this dead horse Is exhausting Heartbreaking To see my hand shaking I'm knee-deep in the dead Still wading Still wading in this This well-called life Tread the floods So you can hope to seize Your own reality Before it escapes thee Watch yourself drown in disarray It's time to break away Or well die today [Solo: Corey] Stress Breaking my back Pulse is stuttering Pressure mental attack My thoughts clattering Nervousness halting all will Forcing apathy Anxiety an aching chill Hammering down me Beating this dead horse is exhausting Heartbreaking To see my hand's shaking I'm knee-deep in the dead Still wading Still wading in this This well called life Tread the floods so you can hope to seize Your own reality Before it escapes thee Watch yourself drown in disarray It's time to break away Or well die today ***Subscribe to me if you liked this song because i will be uploading more from The Crusade and other albums. I have already uploaded all of Shogun. I will also start doing lyric videos for different bands soon to.***

Jason Walker - Shouldn't Be A Good In Goodbye
Jason Walker - Shouldn't Be A Good In Goodbye Lyrics After the silence, after the last words. Caught in the silence. Caught in between. After the madness. After the slow shock. Before the wave hits, the flood comes rushing in. This is the bad before the worse. This is the storm before the storm I haven't even hit the bottom of this ocean floor. This is the bend before the break. This is the mercy not the grace. This is the proof and not the faith i try to find. There shouldn't be a good in goodbye. If I never loved you, if I never felt your kiss. If I never had you. I know that I ..I still would have mourned you. I would have missed your smile. If it wasn't so worth it, this wouldn't be..oh this wouldn't be the bad before the worse and the storm before the storm. I haven't even hit the bottom of this ocean floor. This is the bend before the break. This is the mercy not the grace. This is the proof and not the faith I try to find. There shouldn't be a good in goodbye. I know this is gonna get better ohh. I know this is gonna get better ohh. I know. This is the bitter not the sweet. This is the take and not the keep. And I haven't even reached the bottom of this ocean floor. This is the bend before the break. This is the mercy not the grace. This is the proof and not the faith I try to find. There shouldn't be a good in goodbye. Yeah. There shouldn't be good in goodbye. There shouldn't be a good in goodbye.

Discovering Religion: Ep 04 -The Flood (1 of 2)
***NOTICE*** Please turn on your annotations for this video. I have made several minor continuity errors and I have corrected these mistakes in the annotations. Thank you. The fourth installment of my original series, "Discovering Religion". In this two-part episode I examine just 4 of the innumerable problems that arise if the Flood Myth is accepted as a literal, historical event. Problem 1.) The emergence of predatory animals after the Flood and the conflicts that arise if present-day carnivores consumed only vegetations during the 1556 from Adam to Noah's son, Shem. Problem 2.) The implausibility of a Human-Dinosaur coexistence and how such an absurd idea contradicts everything we know about life on Earth and the timeline of events in our solar system. Problem 3.) The great many conflicts that arise between the Flood event and the knowledge the Earth once contained a super-continent known as Pangaea -- namely, if the Flood really did occur, how did marsupials and penguins make the journey back to their respective isolated continents, the only place they are and have always been naturally found to exist. Problem 4.) The inability for creationists to reconcile the young earth view with the astronomical evidence of a universe that appears many billions of years old. Creationists often weasel their way out of honest scientific debate by claiming carbon dating to be inaccurate or bringing into question such natural processes as sediment deposition. However, ancient ...

iTUNES: itunes.apple.com MERCH: riserecords.merchnow.com GET UP! And here we go... Now listen up I'll say a thing or two, I bet I know something about you, That you don't even know, You don't wanna believe, I know you're down for anything. That's not what you're looking for, There's not a reason to walk out that door, And I don't even want you to sing, I just want you to jump with me. (I'm screaming) My body's failing, I think I've hit the floor, I cannot feel anything anymore. My body's failing, I think I've hit the floor, I can't remember anything, anymore. And I'm gonna miss your face, for a long long time (for a long long time) And I can't escape this place, it's in my mind (cause its in my mind) And now that you don't even care, I've got you inside the palm of my hand. You don't really wanna get inside my head, let's leave out all our skeletons. The dead just like you will rise, So come on life your voices towards the sky, Now I want you to jump, I want you to sing, Now I want you to scream with me... I've been put down for way too long, You'll never be good enough. All they told me was just give up, You'll never be good enough. (^^^ Repeated twice^^^) Pushing me, pushing me, shut up. Shut up. I'm gonna miss your face, I'm gonna miss your taste, I'm gonna miss your face, It's in my mind... My body's failing, I think I've hit the floor, I cannot feel anything anymore.
