"A Little Bit of Hope" #97 ACEO
What's an ATC/ACEO? Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded/sold around the world. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" X 3.5." ATCs that are sold rather than traded are called Art Cards Editions or Originals (ACEO). ACEOs are a cost-efficient way to support the arts by collecting mini masterpieces from your favorite artists. They're the same size as a baseball card and can be preserved & displayed in the same way - framed, protected by a hard plastic case, propped on a tiny easel, or organized in a special album (a unique coffee table book.) Some of these close-up views may be angled to show texture, sparkle, shimmer, iridescence, luminosity, and/or depth. The white background helps me digitally adjust the brightness to more correct levels. Differences in monitor setting might still cause minor discrepancies. The reverse is titled, numbered, dated, and signed: The artwork in this series is intended to be intimate, whimsical, elegant, honest, unique and fun. I take great pride in my work and I hope you'll view it in an artistic light, despite my unorthodox painting methods.
"A Little Bit of Hope" is a series that experiences gradual style/media/technique transitions over time. This may occur as a result of necessity, a revelation, a whim, and/or experimentation with new elements and concepts. Click here to view my current listings on ebay. |
