"A Little Bit of Hope" #1 My very first ACEO!
This is the 1st original offering in this series of miniature breast transfer paintings. The design was applied directly to my breast, my right one (if that matters,) which was then pressed onto the paper. This series is intended to be an intimate, whimsical break from the monotonies in life. I use my specialty in paint mixology to create visually appealing palettes with a nice balance of color and contrast. Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded/sold around the world. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" X 3.5." ATCs that are sold rather than traded are called Art Cards Editions or Originals (ACEO). ACEOs are a cost-efficent way to support the arts and collect pieces from your favorite artists. This original painting has some texture and lots of iridescent shimmer and sparkle. Here are some close-up views of this artwork:
