A large tree was uprooted by the winds of Tropical Storm Irene on Everett St. causing damage to the house in Providence, R.I., Sunday, Aug. 28, 201. Irene was to continue weakening as it passes over New England, and it's expected to move over eastern Canada by Sunday night. It remains a massive storm, however, with powerful winds extending more than 300 miles from the center.
