How to set up Khmer Unicode for MS Window Vista
Please READ my instruction here! Hi, my name is Wathna. Today I'm going to show you how to install and/or set up Khmer Unicode Fonts. Before we're getting start, I would like to let you know that there are two types of Khmer Unicode: they are Khmer Unicode Beta, and NIDA Khmer Unicode • The first type is called Khmer Unicode Beta. This type we use the KEY SPACE BAR to input the leg This type is the majority of being used in general to type in Khmer Unicode Fonts • The other type is call NIDA Khmer Unicode This type we use the KEY J to put the leg Please note that this kind (Khmer Unicode Beta) the software is already contained in Microsoft Windows System from Vista Service Pack 2 and/or higher version, therefor, in generally, you can read the news wrote in Khmer Unicode, BUT you might see the Khmer Fonts structure improperly such as some letters (alphabets/consonants/vowels) are messed up, the Fonts are small and hard to read or you see them like square IF they typed in NIDA Khmer Unicode. If you want to type in Khmer Unicode Beta, you don't need the software but you just need to set it up, and I'm going to show you how to set it up now. Click Start Menu click Control Panel click Change Keyboards or other input method s click Change Keyboards... click Add... find Khmer (Cambodia) double click on Keyboard thick Khmer click okay click apply click Okay.
