Attack on Libya by NATO & US
This Attack with Bombs, Missiles, Gunship Helicopters and Teams of Special Forces is nothing less than a Colonial Barbaric Attack on Libya

NATO commanders who authorized the bombing of Libya should be “held accountable” to international law and hauled before the world court for civilian deaths. Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) source

From www.wsws.org NATO prepares bloodbath in Sirte

Two months after his arrival in Tripoli, the president of Voltaire Network briefly commented about the situation he is about to leave behind as follows: "The center of Tripoli is occupied by the rebels. The population is cloistered inside their homes. Not joy, but terror. No freedom; only foreign occupation. "

Vultures attack Libya Breaking News: * As public realize something is not right, wild claims of 50,000 missing and hidden chemical weapons abound. These are total fabrications similar to Iraq weapons of mass destruction story and used to justify outright murder and plunder by NATO & US.
* Activists camped out in Gadaffi compound in solidarity were slaughtered by the Rebels

The Rape of Libya: from WSWS: Five days after “rebels” entered Tripoli, under the cover of NATO bombing and led by foreign special forces, the abject criminality of imperialism’s takeover of Libya is becoming increasingly evident.
Fighting continues to rage throughout the Libyan capital, whose two million residents have been made hostages of the armed gangs and Western special forces troops that have seized control of the city’s streets.

News reports and statements from international aid agencies warn of a humanitarian catastrophe in the city as a result of the NATO siege. Reporting from a local hospital, the Telegraph said: “As battle raged in the Tripoli streets hundreds of casualties were brought in, rebel fighters, Gaddafi’s soldiers, and unlucky civilians, laying next to each other in bed and even on a floor awash with blood, screaming or moaning in agony. Many died before they could be treated.”

The paper interviewed Dr. Mahjoub Rishi, the hospital’s Professor of Surgery: “There were hundreds coming in within the first few hours. It was like a vision from hell. Missile injuries were the worst. The damage they do to the human body is shocking to see, even for someone like me who is used to dealing with injuries.” Most of the casualties, he said, were civilians caught in the crossfire.

Next Steps: Will be probably Qatar troops on the ground with NATO 'advisors'. Later we will see an attack on Syria and then US/NATO will be ready for their ultimate target Iran. Note: Al Jazeera is based out of Doha, Qatar ruled by royality/sheiks. Qatar has already provided financianing, weapons, mercenaries and troops.

Within days of the UN resolution for the Libyan no-fly zone a few months back, it has been known that this was purely a very thin cover for European and US ambitions of regime change to place a better puppet in power and to grab the billions in oil revenues that Libyan had in the bank. These revenues have already been seized.

The claim that NATO were bombing Libyan to save civilians was always a bit like 'fucking for virginity' and was extremely suspect coming from an organisation that was busy killing and maiming people in Afghanistan alongside the US.

In the past few weeks the mainstream pro-repressive pro-murder press has been giving a massive propanganda boost to the so called rebels. These ragbag assertment of cut-throats and extremists and even Al Qaeda jihad forces who had very little support were supported by thousands of continuous bombing raids by NATO and now last night NATO were instrumental in bombing Tripoli and straffing (heavy calibar gunships) civilians from helicopters. Crimes against humanity have been and are being committed by NATO and the terrorists that they have aided and abetted over the past few months as they terrorize the people of Libya, maim and murder them.

Maghberry prison

Maghaberry jail is where Irish Republican prisoners in the Six Counties who did not agree with the Good Friday Agreement remained while the Provisions walked out under the terms of the Agreement. Subsequently their numbers have been swelled by others also opposed to the GFA. Although the British and the Northern Ireland Executive's Justice Minister deny they are political prisoners, they call them "Separate" because they are separated from non-political prisoners within the jail. After broken agreements, ongoing harassment and violent and physically intrusive body searches, the prisoners now escalate their protest campaign.

Crises of capitalism

It has been said that we live in a business run society which is characterised by business parties masquerading as political parties and a 'political class' that implements policies which more often than not puts the interests of 'big business' ahead of the well being of the general populace. The unprecedented nature of bank bailouts in this country along with continued and debatable payments to bondholders with an apparent absence of serious public consultation let alone a referendum on matters with such wide-ranging and generational consequences seems to lend some credence to this characterisation of modern society.
