Dear visitors,
This project is not funded. I work on it in my spare time.
The REC Music Foundation has generously
given me server-space, but I have many costs in
maintaining and expanding the website. So if you find
the information here useful,
please consider making a donation. Your gift is greatly appreciated!

Where to start?
The Introduction is a good place, or the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
You can also browse the collection by using the indexes by composer, text poet or author,
first line, title, or language; or you can search for words or phrases. If you can't
find what you're looking for, please feel free to make a request for the wishlist.
The following links to selected song texts will give you an idea
of the type of information this website has to offer.
Be sure to read this
note about how to tell when a text shown is the sung text or the published
stand-alone text or both.
Note: leave out punctuation and diacritics (e.g., instead of ä use a, and use ss for ß)
