SABMiller goes hostile with $10 billion Foster's bid

MELBOURNE/LONDON (Reuters) - Global brewer SABMiller has taken its $10 billion bid direct to Foster's Group shareholders, days before Foster's announces its annual results, having failed to win over the Australian company's board.

July producer prices seen edging up

In Wednesday's data, U.S. producer prices are likely to have increased by 0.1 percent in July, compared to a drop in June of 0.4 percent. Dallas Fed president Richard Fisher is also expected to speak in the early afternoon while President Barack Obama enters his final bus tour date in the midwest.  Video
