Jeep highlights

Jeep claims to be oldest off road vehicle brand, older even than Land Rover. Owned by Chrysler, Jeep are famous for it's basic 4 wheel drive from the World War II and after that Vietnam in particular. The first Jeeps, the Bantam BRC 40, have long since evolved into high selling offroad/onroads cars such as the Cherokee and Wrangler. Jeep encourage owners to document their experience taking their cars off road and adventuring and share it with fellow owners with their "having fun out there" initiative and the Jeep Jamboree. The Grand Cherokee and Patriot are more suited to a family sized vehicle but still perform well off the road. Jeeps were made in Australia under the name Willys Motor Australia from the 1940s to the 1980s.
