Terms of use of images
The SKA Program Development Office (SPDO) images and motion pictures may on a non-exclusive basis be reproduced without fee, according to the conditions outlined below. All SPDO still and motion pictures are copyright protected on behalf of the SPDO and are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License.

Conditions:

  • The image credit must be clearly visible as the source of the image material;
  • SPDO materials, images and videos may not be used to state or imply the endorsement by the SPDO of a commercial product, process or service;
  • SPDO disclaims any and all liability arising from the use of the image material;
  • If an image includes an identifiable person, using that image for commercial purposes may infringe that person’s right of privacy, and separate permission should be obtained from the individual.

Note that this general permission does not extend to use of the SKA logo, which shall remain protected and may not be used or reproduced without prior and individual written consent of the SPDO. By reproducing SPDO still images or broadcasting or copying SKA motion pictures, in part or in full, the user acknowledges the terms on which such use is permitted.
