Diablo Wallpapers

Lots of headlines from Blizzard this week surrounding its long-in-development action-RPG sequel, Diablo III: the real money auction house, always-on Internet connection requirement, beta preview, and more. Unfortunately, the one thing Blizzard didn't give us was a firm release date.

So Diablo III may or may not make it onto your hard drive by the end of this year. Hey, it's already been a decade since Diablo II shipped, what's another few months? And you can always wait in style, courtesy of FilePlanet's Wallpaper Wednesday. Featuring three Diablo III Wallpapers, one from Blizzard itself and two created by fans, these images will keep your monitor looking prepared for that fateful day when you can finally score a fresh fix of kill-loot-equip-repeat.



Deus Ex New Vision Mod

In anticipation of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, many a PC gamer has returned to the Warren Specter and Harvey Smith cyberpunk classic that started it all. And while that trip down nostalgia lane may be fun, it sure ain't pretty. The 10-year-old Deus Ex is showing its age, but lucky for us, there's a mod for that.

On oldie but a goodie, the Deus Ex New Vision Mod enhances each and every texture in the game's dystopian future setting and supports all those other fantastic Deus Ex mods you're already playing with. And New Vision is perfect for those who missed Deus Ex the first time around but would like to get up to speed (and see what all the fuss is about) in time for the August 23 launch of Human Revolution.



Half-Life 2 Expansion Mods

As engrossing as it may be, the Half-Life universe is full of unanswered questions. Sick of waiting on Valve to provide answers with Episode 3, a number of modders have taken it upon themselves and put the Source Engine to work. Anime-Inspired Fallout 3 Mods

After you add a little sex appeal (okay, a lot of sex appeal) to Oblivion's characters, why not do the same with Bethesda's other major open-world RPG franchise, Fallout? FilePlanet dug up a little something extra this time around, with a batch of Fallout 3 Mods that will transform Bethesda's sci-fi epic into an anime adventure like no other.
