Classic Serena comeback! Most hate the ESPN commentary of this match, however, that made me appreciate the match even more, since Serena shut them up. She also called her forehand "ragged." ~ Mary Carillo * Sharapova's second serve is superior to Serena's. ~ Mary Carillo * "This kid's better." ~Mary Carillo referring to Sharapova in comparison to Serena. * Venus has "HORRIBLE" technique on the serve & forehand. ~ Pam Shriver * Serena "doesn't have faith, she doubts herself on the court." ~ MJ Fernandez * "Sharapova is totally in the head of Serena Wiliiams, she doesn't know to handle her mentally or physically." ~ Pam Shriver * Dick Enberg & Mary Carillo calling some of Serena's shots "lucky". * "If you can't beat her, hit her" ~ Mary Carillo Of course they stopped talking sh!t once Serena fought back to take the second set. Although that didn't stop Carillo from saying that she still believes Sharapova is the better even after Serena beat her. LOL. And for the record, I have nothing against Sharapova.
