ETD - Exoplanet Transit Database

Observers community | How to contribute to ETD | Model-fit your data | Transit predictions |
KEPLER Transit predictions | KEPLER Candidates | CoRoT Transit predictions | CoRoT Candidates

ETD is here to suply quickly and easily the list of all ever observed transits of transiting exoplanets to observers and researchers.

Our database administrators are periodically checking for new transits - both in literature and in on-line internet sources. Each transit is stored with complete citations, link to the paper / on-line source URL.

For each exoplanet, there is available graphical output of relations:
- transit TIMINGS vs. EPOCH
- transit DURATION vs. EPOCH
- transit DEPTH vs. EPOCH and
- list of available transits.

Data quality is rated for each observation and the DQ index is taken into account while plotting graphs.

Tools for observers :
- Observers can plot their own observations in diagrams.
- Model-fitting of transit observation and finding out parameters HJDmid, Depth, Duration.
- Global transit predictions.

What's new:

2011-08-03 : Kepler candidate KOI-0196 b has been confirmed by A. Santerne at al. (2011), SOPHIE velocimetry of Kepler transit candidates IV. KOI-196b: a non-inflated hot-Jupiter with a high albedo. Object was added to ETD.

One pre-confirmation observation by T. Scarmato fits well the final system parameters.

2011-07-30 : Kepler candidate KOI 203 b was renamed to Kepler-17 b (Cyg) according to discovery paper by J.M. Désert et al, 2011: The hot-Jupiter Kepler-17b: discovery, obliquity from stroboscopic starspots, and atmospheric characterization.

Interesting study including star-spot crossing analysis.
Two transits of this object (KOI 0203) were previously reported by Veli-Pekka Hentunen to TRESCA database, now renamed to Kepler-17 b as well. Both transit observations are in very good agreement with published parameters. Congratulation!

2011-07-14 : Kepler candidate KOI 128 b was renamed to Kepler-15 b (Cyg) according to discovery paper by Michael Endl et al, 2011: The First Kepler Mission Planet Confirmed With The Hobby-Eberly Telescope: Kepler-15b, a Hot Jupiter Enriched In Heavy Elements
