Introduction

The Nintendo DS is the perfect little handheld for RPGs such as Final Fantasy III. Old-school, yet newly renovated, Final Fantasy III is seeing its very first release in the United States, and is in fact the last game in the numbered series to have been released here. The DS acts as an old-school portal from which gamers can go back in time to enjoy a game that they have never enjoyed before in remade, but still traditional, form. Within is layer after layer of gameplay that makes Final Fantasy III an extremely dynamic and enjoyable RPG. When taken into consideration that this is a renewed incarnation of a game that originally saw release in Japan in the spring of 1990, you'll no doubt be impressed with your gaming experience.

Yet, Final Fantasy III, like any epic game in the RPG genre, can be confusing and difficult at times. Whether it be a pesky boss or a big dungeon that is halting the progress of your game, IGN Guides is here to help. Within, you will find a plethora of information that will take you from beginning to end in the world-saving adventures of Luneth, Arc, Refia and Ingus, including a complete walkthrough and an extensive basics section that covers all of the game's fundamentals.

So grab your sword and run headlong into danger, warrior! The world needs saving!
